Neighbours: Discussion Thread
Ned burnt Maxine's house down so Brad is bailing him out. I'm really enjoying the show at the moment, especially Elly/Angus, not many people are though. I can't wait for Jack/Paige to be over.

I don't like VJ. I don't like how unrealistic the aging of the character is. The show has improved a lot since Ricky's departure earlier this year.

It's current, it is excellent, they do a pod every 2 or so weeks, reviewing the recent episodes. They just had their 50th episode. It's on iTunes if you want to check it out. Someone sent in a parody song about Karl performing surgery with a power drill, called 'Drilling Her Softly'

Nice, love Neighbours. Are people on this forum aware of the podcast Neighbuzz?

Yes Angus has a huge crush on Elly. It's the only thing keeping me interested at the moment. Love Xanthe too

Norman Bates! Love your avatar InLoveWithSoaps The show has been really good last few episodes still. Loved Shirley saying she would smash the windows if Dot didn't keep her job at the launderette haha. Jane has become likeable again. It feels more like a community. I will be watching avidly from now on. I agree that Kim Medcalf should return.

All that stuff with Dot was excellent in my opinion. Bright Eyes - I have no idea in regards to the housing arrangements. On Neighbours I know where every character from the whole history of the show lived, but all the houses and flats on EE just look the same to me. I have no idea which house is the original Slater house. Who lives in Pat's now?

EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I can't see Phil finding out about it for years. I have a feeling that Kim and Vincent will raise the baby who will end up seeing Vincent as his/her dad, then Phil finds out his child has been raised by Vincent and all hell breaks loose. I quite like the idea of Kim and Vincent raising the baby, I hope this goes ahead.

Yeah sorry, that wasn't aimed at you, it's just obvious that they won't ever get rid of Phil, but Ronnie and Roxy seemingly because they've been in it a shorter amount of time. I've rather been enjoying the Denise baby story ironically, maybe because it doesn't seem as predictable as other stories, I've liked Kim's involvement too.

Why should Phil get away with his crimes any more than Ronnie though? I way prefer Ronnie and Roxy over Phil, Ben's the only reason I'd like Phil to stay, they'd never have anything happen to Phil. Can't believe some of the episodes have had me liking Jane lately

I really hope that's not true, silly idea.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
I'm about 10 episodes behind but I've watched 2 episodes and noticed a dramatic change in tone and came here to post, then saw you've all been talking about it, as has DS. The change was dramatic, the everyday scenes are more prominent and there seems to be depth in most scenes. I was getting so bored hence the build up of episodes but it captured my attention a lot more once I started again. They've used Sonia a lot better, I love her.- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
I'm glad you're taking an interest in Neighbours. I'm watching some 2007 at the moment, around the time of the Ned/Janae/Kirsten stuff, the 2007 cliffhanger was immense with the roof collapse!- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
I haven't liked them much so far but that's a minority view as most people seem to really like them. David seems like the one with the most potential- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
New Jordan was hot and a good re-cast, I thought he would be sticking around so I was annoyed when he didn't. I'd prefer him over Chelsea but I wouldn't mind Chelsea. I never want to see Libby again unless she is re-cast. Liam or Cindy Jnr would be cool but I don't think there's enough of their family around, I'd rather have Jordan back.- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
Yeah she was quite close to Steph, and also Libby. It will be interesting to see her screen time with Steph and the Kennedys, as well as obviously Toadie. I'm so excited!- Neighbours: Discussion Thread

Shame DRW50, I'd be interested to see what you think. Nothing about it lures you in? It's certainly more enjoyable than EastEnders and Home and Away at the moment. I tried giving Bold and the Beautiful a go recently, but couldn't get into it. Today's episode is worth a watch, Carla Bonner gave a great performance.- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
Thanks DRW50, have you been watching?- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
The kidnappers looked and sounded more like in the closet gays than gay bashers. It was totally laughable. Phil having a baby with Denise is just ridiculous, as if the Mitchells don't have enough stories Did I miss something, why was Mark hanging around with Shakil all the time?- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
Lisa doesn't care what happens to Louise? And apparently Michelle has talked to Mark a lot about Grant- EastEnders: Discussion Thread
There'll be no cast left at this rate. I have a bad feeling about this new era.- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
It's a shame cause Neighbours is my favourite and I really like seeing the opinions of the members on here but no-one watches it!! Haha.- Neighbours: Discussion Thread
I already watch the 4 UK shows, Shortland Street, and Red Rock, so it would be insane of me to try and fit in the AUS shows. However, like the US soaps, I do keep up with them. I wouldn't bother with Home and Away at the moment. I watch it/keep up with it out of loyalty but that's it. Neighbours actually is good at the moment, certainly better than Emmerdale and Hollyoaks, how can you watch Hollyoaks over Neighbours seriously :P Just kidding. - EastEnders: Discussion Thread
