  1. Since when has this been a thing on SON?
  2. @EricMontreal22 and as I've mentioned for months, there is NO proof of that. She kept insisting it was accurate because of a Wikiwand article. We argued for an hour on how Wikiwand and Wikipedia aren't reliable. I even changed Aggie's name to Donald Duck to prove my point. She still insisted it was a reliable source. Finally, she revealed to me the source she had who confirmed it to be true. I asked him and he told me he read it on Wikipedia. He told me that it's true because it's cited. Well, there is NOT a single citation on that page that remotely mentions something like that. **However** I somehow remember hearing something similar when Aggie was writing the radio soap The Woman in White and that it canned before they could bring them on. Which makes since considering Aggie was actually writing that show. And we all know that they pretty much ended radio shows without warning.
  3. Firstly, you judge people ALL THE DAMN TIME. Secondly, why are you taking this special so seriously? It isn't like these are all paid historians discussing a documentary they put on about AMC. It's just a shout out for the fans. No academic would ever take the information from this for face value.
  4. Donna, please do not do this with my show. PLEASE. PLEASE. PLEASE. Do NOT taint it with your insanity. And you are replying to yourself again! You are like our Janet!!
  5. She mentioned to Paul Raven in the SFT thread that the internet is filled with errors on soap opera. I'm convinced that all the errors she finds are actually the truth and all the truth she finds are actually errors she promoted/created.
  6. Give up with @Contessa Donatella For a month Donna and I argued on Facebook Messenger over the Erica abortion situation. She insisted that Erica had her abortion in Pine Valley and that it was illegal because it wasn't legal in PA at the time. She felt that because Courtney Simon told her that her character on SFT was the first to get one and it was in NYC. I then discovered, right after Donna told me, on another board she reiterated the same thing but said to take what Simon said with a grain of salt because Simon herself said she couldn't remember the details on the dates. But Donna was telling ME to take her word for it. I showed Donna the AMC scripts which proved she was wrong. I posted images of them on this thread, by the way. Donna insisted the scripts were wrong and rewritten at the last minute. When asked why Agnes would rewrite such a major detail at the last minute, she replied "You tell me". I also informed her that it was a written and tape date and doing a rewrite wouldn't have been feasible with the time frame. Finally, she told me that the only way to know for FACT is to watch the episode that aired ....months later.... She is now going by what I said. I'm convinced that @Contessa Donatella suffers from the condition Mythomania. Also known as a Pathological Lying. I'm not saying this to be cute, as an insult, or to jab her in anyway. I'm saying this as someone who, frankly, is somewhat scared of her. I regularly chatted with her for months last year. Donna CAN NOT admit she can be wrong. And she lies but CAN NOT admit she does lie and make things up.
  7. That was a talk show
  8. There wasn't a soap in NETWORK. The Sun Also Sets was in soap dish. How the hell did your mind confuse those two movies?
  9. My dad remembers buying his first blank tape for 80 bucks.
  10. Do you have any with Marland's first run on ATWT, before The Dobson's took over? From my understanding they asked for an extension to wrap up the rape storyline. I could be wrong.
  11. And you do remember I'm a fan of hers, right?
  12. Oh. That changes everything we thought we knew. I mean, if she was being sabotaged, falling asleep during story conferences is one motive to drive her away.
  13. I know about ABC. But where did you get your information on Fox and what became Paramount and what became Sony? I just can't imagine Fox wanting AW.
  14. I asked Kay about Mamie. She said Bill based her after his housekeeper. That was her name.
