  1. Thanks @slick jones!
  2. Very brief clip of her at the beginning of this one.
  3. Taina Elg (Olympia Buchanan) has died. https://www.helsinkitimes.fi/finland/finland-news/domestic/26969-golden-globe-winning-finnish-actress-taina-elg-dies-aged-95.html
  4. Hope you're feeling better @slick jones Came across another entry for House Jameson. Unknown role on Guiding Light, 1958.
  5. Very sorry to see this news. My first memory of her and Days was the story of her character Susan Martin shooting her husband after their baby died, and then of course Susan introduced Doug to Julie. Enjoyed all of her work though.
  6. Thanks @skylark and @DRW50!

  8. I did not (I was a teenager then), probably because I didn't know their ages at the time and I didn't realize there was such a big age gap. But I was disgusted when she was with "old man" Bob Anderson, when the actor was only around six months older than Bill Hayes, lol.
  9. Thanks for the tag @DRW50!
  10. My first childhood crush beginning when he was on Dr. Kildare. I even had one of his records, probably the first one I ever had. He's been a favorite ever since. Was lucky enough to see him on stage in "My Fair Lady" in the 90s.
  11. No, I don't remember seeing this before. Thanks @MissPalmer and @DRW50!
  12. The largest portion of episode 15001 was Julie's eulogy for Doug, which was taken from Susan's real eulogy for Bill. I know Susan said it was okay for them to use it but doesn't seem right to try to get an award using someone else's work.
  13. I'd say both Tom and Bill had tempers, and Julie definitely had (has) her moments too, lol.
  14. I never really enjoyed the Andersons, Linda excepted (MM only), and she was a force for years before she got involved with Bob, so not sure she even counts. I remember an interview with Barbara Stanger where she said Mary was insipid, lol.
  15. Thanks @DRW50!
  16. @Bright Eyes I couldn't find a definite answer re Bill Lockwood. The one on Days graduated from DePauw University in 1950 (that's how Bill Hayes was acquainted with him) so he would have been very young if he had hit records in the 1940s (or, was an older student). I couldn't find anything saying he was ever a singer, but as of 1976, he had written over 500 songs. He was also musical director on several tv shows, including The Dean Martin Show.
