  1. Mary C had the spirit of Mulgrew..but was warmer. Shame she was let go cause I wonder how she would have handled Mary's issues with Siobhan
  2. Monique crying about kids not liking her when she was little doesn't surprise me. She probably pulled the same thing with them that she pulled on Gizelle. She's a deeply unhappy person.
  3. Sorry..none of these women are likable. Karen is delusional, but she covers her tracks well. That's the one nice thing I'll say about her.
  4. Monique is a bully, but like Karen said in season 3...Candiace needs to pick her battles. I do like when Candiace gathers Ashley and Andy Cohen even though both Andy and Ashley have 1 brain cell between the two of them.
  5. Yes... Faith was pregnant..and was making sandwiches on Pat and Nancy's boat. There was a jolt on the boat and she fell forward onto the knife. I think this might have started her husband Tom's descent into villain territory
  6. @Cathousewife fatigue is my theory. Jen is too much, and I think is pushing for drama too much. She's fake, inauthentic and would benefit from some cognitive therapy.
  7. Jen is acting up and taking everything so personal because she's lonely. Her hubby travels (don't blame him) and her kids seem like they have their own stuff. She seems overly emotional and unbalanced to me. Part of me wonders if she's offended partly to prove to hubby that she cares about him and her family? Mary...I view her like I view most nouveau riche. She is a classist..not a racist....and Jen making it about race says more about Jen than Mary. Both are not likable...but have fascinating backstories. Meredith is the complete opposite of Jen in terms of coping with not being with hubby. She shuts down emotionally and disengages. Lisa is a New Yorker. Heather is relatable...but I think she's stuck emotionally due to the divorce from hubby and the Mormon church. Jen's 1 redeeming quality is that she's genuinely a decent friend to Heather...but heather wear some armour on your back so Jen's knife won't penetrate the skin. Whitney seems like on a different show..kinda like Dina on NJ in season 6.
  8. Ashley needs to stay quiet as long as her hubby has uncontrollable hands.
  9. RHOC Fire Brownie. This show doesn't need abusive spouses on the show. Elizabeth..I'm wondering if she thinks the earth is flat? Gina is funny Emily and Shane seem to be closer. Shannon..I think it's natural for her boyfriend to pick his son over her. RHOSLC: Jen's hubby travels for a reason. She's every negative stereotype of women. Mary isn't any better than Jen...she just keeps her cool unlike Jen.
  10. I grew up in Chicago and RH aired at 11AM till the final episode. ABC was #1 in the Chicago market so it made sense to air it in the correct time slot. Oh, I just loved watching scenes of Edna on AMC...she was a more whimsical version of Opal lol
  11. It's why her 1989 visits were probably well received. She had longer hair, was warm, and confident. @vetsoapfanwould you say that the Alice of 1989 was more in line with how her Alice was back in the 60s and early 70s? I could understand her more colder approach in 1984 to 1985 since she was steeling herself to return to Bay City and facing Rachel. Had the writers studied her history...they could have written the character in that light while slowly letting her guard down the longer she stayed in Bay City.
  12. From watching their goodbye episodes in spring 1985..you could see the writing on the wall regarding Quint and NOLA. Some couples aren't meant to stay together forever. I think Long tried to write for them...but by mid 1984..it was difficult. So I would have had NOLA come back in 1995 eccentric with a hint of melancholy..and regrouping at the Boarding House.
  13. RHOP I'm sorry but Monique has something mentally wrong with her (her being friendly with the walking idiot Porsha seals it for me). The moment Monique went physical..she lost the upper hand that she had over Candiace. Obviously she wasn't taught to walk away instead of engaging. And Karen has all of you fooled.
  14. RHOP: Monique shouldn't be rewarded for assaulting someone. Candiace needs to get at the root of her anger (her mom). Wendy...who is that? Robyn: stay engaged and don't marry Juan Ashley: Deal with your house and its contents (michael) before you start calling out the messes in other peoples houses. Giselle..is well...Giselle. She's the coyote to the road runner (Karen). Karen is delusional and lives up to her name. She's also two faced and before she comes after Robyn looks (whose beautiful)..she needs to look in the mirror at her Crypt keeper looks.
  15. I thought Andrew Robinson would have been perfect as Frank had he settled down and wasn't in the tortured romance with Jillian phase. Pierson was a louder Frank...but he also sexier as well. Sanderford was almost too young to be Frank. He was calmer and almost too smooth to play Frank. DHK was a good Frank. (My mom said he was her fav Frank).
  16. Yeah, Melody played Nikki as a ditzy girl that was gullible. Sweet, manipulative, and her own worst enemy. Even in the 1982 episodes, you still saw that Nikki...but by the late 80s..that had completely gone away. You never see true character evolutions anymore like that.
  17. I thought Mary captured the eccentric spirit of the Met ball..with the door man dressed in holiday entired. Jen is an example of why I tell straight men to never marry and / or having a pre nup. Meredith disengaging was refreshing and has given a new twist on the housewife formula.
  18. Next week looks to be the footage the women filmed during production shutdown...based on seeing the Brownie family scene...and Shannon/Gina on Zoom. From what Emily said...all 6 aren't filmed together until the finale party once production resumes. I liked the Sophie talking heads...sweet with a bit of sarcasm. Elizabeth talks of money like Vicki talked of work lol RHOP And Monique had self control..she didn't pop Robyn during umbrellagate in season 3 (I can watch that on repeat) lol Ashley has potential to read people...Karen better be on guard lol
  19. RHOSLC Jen's talking head gives me Baby Jane vibes. She's just not likable. RHOP My fav fight ever was the Robyn and Monique umbrella fight in season 3 It was comedic.
  20. Maybe the housewives shouldn't be filming together anyway.
  21. I'm curious why production of OC didn't shut down when Shannon came down with it...but it shut down on BH?
  22. 1st trailer was from the 5 weeks of filming pre shutdown. Personally they could have had 5 episodes instead of 8. Mid season looks interesting
  23. It didn't seem like Kings Crossing was a soap...more like a Family/eight is enough type of show. Was the plan to start in that vein and then soap it up later?
  24. Problem is Leeann should have been fired a long time ago. She threatened to kill someone in season 1, shoved a camera person in season 1, broke a wine glass and threatened someone with it, spread rumors about someone being gay, and also did the racist thing. I'm curious why that was the straw..and not the other things she pulled. Brandi should have been downgraded to a friend...but I have a feeling Tiffany was hired to gather Brandi. RHOP Regarding Karen, she's vile and is no grand dame. A true grand dame wouldn't deem to appear on a reality show.
  25. I'm wondering if Brandi's video will be discussed with Tiffany in the cast. Tiffany seems like a Leeann...but one that's stable. Kary vs Tiffany looks interesting
