Thanks so much for finding all this. I wonder if Sheryl was being evasive for future material reasons or if she just does see it all this way. Very sad about Brent Briscoe. He looks much older and more ill in those recent photos. It's sad how many actors from the revival we've already lost. He was always an underrated part of the Buckhorn scenes, especially the one where Matthew Lillard was killed.

Unfortunately many of these Congresspeople will just be replaced by more extreme versions of the GOP, not Democrats. Not that I'm saying I hope these people stay either. They're useless. But I don't think we'll be getting anything better anyway.

I see that Mark Consuelos, looking as plastic and smarmy as ever, is on Riverdale. That's one of the oiliest, smarmiest, and most plastic casts around, so he fits right in.

Michael Fishman looks exactly like you'd have thought he would as an adult. That rarely happens with child actors...

"Secret Storm" memories.
@slick jones I put a TV Picture Life from December 1966 in the Doctors thread and they have a Secret Storm cast list. I wasn't sure if it had any names you may need.

So our resident is getting ugly with a war hero battling terminal cancer, and it's just another day at the office. The new norm with us becomes more bewildering every day.

I think he's going to flounce (the only thing that may stop him is he probably really enjoys campaigning), as he is obviously so fed up of not getting what he wants and is now just burning everything down so that Congress will have to do the work. I could also see a scenario where the money men will convince him to resign. It's going to get much worse in the next year, and the next few years, in terms of the economy (not even getting into whether any of us will even be alive, or whether we'll all be in mass shelters...), but I honestly have no idea if people will even blame him or the GOP for this or if they will blame foreigners, Democrats, Obama, Hollywood, the media... All I know is I've decided to stop using his name at all. I don't even want to type it out anymore.

She said she had to play that up because she no longer felt Jill was a heroine, or something along those lines. Whatever happened it seemed like things started spinning out of control somewhere between the early months or first year of her return and 1986-1987. It's a shame, since as much I do love Jess as Jill, I think Brenda at her best really got the heart and emotions of Jill (as shown in some of those '80s flashback episodes and more raw moments).- Y&R: Old Articles

I wish they'd bring Kathy back, even for a visit. Malandra still looks good.- Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
She just seems somewhat unstable to me in her tweets and some of her responses...yesterday when she was angry over James Corden she did the whole "if you replace the word 'women' with the 'n' word imagine the response you'd get" type of argument, and then when she got blowback for that she said she had been high. I guess she's glad to finally be able to speak out but I think the culture of social media puts people in a bubble which isn't very good for them. Maybe I'm over-reacting.- Hollywood Sexual Harrasment/Assault Thread
Agreed. If any of these people with money want to make change they need to try to help these women. I'm very disturbed by Rose McGowan and I wish someone would get her off social media and get her real help.- The Politics Thread
The media just doesn't give a damn, period. They only care about troops and the military for photo ops and video game sequences. Look at how quickly they lost interest in Iraq once it was obvious we weren't conquering heroes.- Bravo's The Real Housewives of....

He's under investigation in several places though, isn't he? (NY, London) I don't think Hollywood will ever change, as it hasn't really changed from the early days. Or even from the pre-Hollywood years. What changes is the methods of coverup. I imagine the biggest changes will be when more and more of the industry and the money of the industry ends up being in places like China (which has its own issues...). Nothing will ever truly change because society will always be happy to blame women. Men do it. Other women do it. Happily. From the getgo of this scandal there's been an effort to turn the blame around on women and it would have worked by now if Weinstein wasn't so heinous and so disliked in Hollywood. Others in his position who are better at being friendly will be rewarded for their efforts.
