I wouldn't be surprised, although I have a feeling he's going to take the blame for someone else, to go full circle for when Aaron took the blame for him. I still think that having this as a mystery is lazy, but I guess it could be worse. I think the show has improved lately, thanks to the Vanessa bi story and Moira's PPD...still can't really watch anything with Robert and the Whites though.

The bright side is social media seems to finally be changing things, although it's disturbing about how open these secrets and how many seemed to just shrug and think well, that's the industry. I also have to wonder if these things are still going on with more well-liked, more connected types even amidst these reveals, and we just aren't hearing about it because they know where the bodies are buried.

I think most of the people in the soap industry who may have behaved that way are probably out of it now. Or dead. I had no idea Toback had such a known history of these accusations. And yet only now are they getting notice. It seems like so much was a festering and open secret until recently.

It's a shame Jeff Cooper didn't work out. He and Jeanne could have gone on the dinner theater/Mike Douglas circuit the way some soap performers did then. Cooper & Cooper. I remember JLB saying in an interview how poorly actors were treated by the show in the '70s.

He looks much older and more ill in those recent photos. It's sad how many actors from the revival we've already lost. He was always an underrated part of the Buckhorn scenes, especially the one where Matthew Lillard was killed.
