We truly have no one capable in charge now. This is terrifying. They later claimed this was a "draft" never meant to be sent out!

Like one of the replies says, Bolton is probably upping the ante to make sure Trump keeps going after Iran. That was his life's dream.

Julian Castro has endorsed Warren. It's a lot of fun seeing the usual sputtering voices on the left frothing at the mouth about how he's opportunistic and is putting his career first. That's what most politicians do, and this type of gaming is nothing new for him either - so why are you suddenly so upset? Oh that's right, it's because he isn't endorsing Saint Bernard. Anyway, I don't see this moving any numbers, but if we had to all pretend that AOC talking about how she had no existence or value as a human being until Bernie made her in his own image was some kind of coup, then we may as well pretend here too.

Geez it must be awful for you and of course for everyone in Australia. Sorry - I know posting a tweet is a bit glib.

Thanks, @YRfan23. I'm glad with your archives we know it wasn't a 'new' episode (and now I have a date for the ATWT promo in it). And thanks for the episodes. I skimmed through the first '95 - the actors in the 'teen' quad really did give it more weight and make you care, especially Sharon Case. And Phyllis was such a hoot at that time, helped by Danny being a wet noodle. When she lugged poor Sasha around and was peeping out of closets, I laughed all over again.- What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
I'm glad you liked that part. I remember not minding him but it's been a while since those Soapnet (RIP) repeats. Beyond the better Fallon, my main highlight that season was Sable - she had such layers. And while Alexis wasn't used as much, she had some good moments.- Doctor Who
Still don't really connect with Jodie as the Doctor. Or t hat loud music in the background.- The Politics Thread
I guess because their site crashed. I don't blame people for worrying, although Trump will probably just send all the immigrants to be killed (first, anyway).- The Politics Thread
I see that Elizabeth Warren yet again caved to voices she should just ignore - she initially condemned Soleimani while also criticizing the reckless killing. The "woke" left seethed and raged, and she then put out another tweet which went on about how he'd been assassinated, similar to what their dear leader Bernie had said. All this has done - yet again - is alienate voters on all sides and made her look reactionary. Meanwhile, Saint Bernie is strutting around telling everyone what a bad-ass he is because he didn't vote for the Iraq invasion, with none of his cultists, or much of anyone else, bothering to point out that he voted for the AUMF which gave Trump the war powers in the first place. Bernie and his cultists don't care about anything but posing and posturing. They are a worthless sideshow, and yet they seem to have more and more influence over a very shaky party. It's not going to end well.- The Politics Thread
Another reason why grandstanding about donations is not the best idea.- What Are You Watching/Binging/Streaming Now?
At least tell me you enjoyed the Sammy Jo/Fallon catfight.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I didn't mind Rex Smith - the show was full of pretty boy business types and I think they tended to suggest he got everything from a rich wife (Carolyn) anyway - but I think they did Frannie a disservice by having her rush into a relationship with him. I also think giving him a past with Connor and needing to make him Margo's friend and the baby with Barbara was all way too much. If the Interwebs had been more prominent in that period he probably would have been torn to shreds.- As The World Turns Discussion Thread
I found this in another video and clipped it - not sure if anyone knows the exact date besides June 1991. It's a fun promo, especially the emphasis on "shocked" and "thoroughly disgusted" from the voiceover guy.- EastEnders: Discussion Thread

I remember how I felt when many actors I enjoyed got fired from ATWT - I can imagine GH fans of those years felt just as upset (judging by the ratings drop, very upset). Did you miss any of them? Looks like Hiatt went on to be a translator at the UN (unless that her was her job pre-GH).- Y&R: Old Articles
ChenowethRules uploaded the commercials from a June 1991 episode - no date given and I couldn't entirely figure out from the commercials (there was a commercial for "new show" Sunday Dinner - it premiered on June 2 and there was no mention of "premiere" so I think that may mean it was from the second or third week of June). I don't think they upload full material anywhere but if any of you know them maybe you can ask.- ALL: They Almost Became
Watching an old interview with Robert Conrad and he said he was offered roles twice on Dynasty - Matthew Blaisdell (I assume this is who he meant as he said he was offered "Bo" at the same time as George Peppard went into the show) and Mark Jennings (or as he called him, "the tennis pro"). He turned both down.- Dynasty Discussion Thread

You're not. We're being taken to war - right as we head into an economic crash too - by a lunatic who will do anything to be reelected. And a war with a very dangerous, capable foe with many allies. I need to hear from all those "liberals" who insisted that Trump was better from Hillary and would keep us away from war.- The Media/Journalism Thread

I'm not defending the process, I don't think the process can be defended - it's an incomprehensible slog that has done nothing but benefit Trump's numbers and lead the party to twist itself into knots, all while terrible, terrible candidates continue to plug along to what feels like a November loss. I just think Castro and his campaign made a lot of mistakes that go beyond what money or support other campaigns have, so for me his dropping out isn't entirely a case of diversity being steamrolled. Some of his mistakes, especially in the debate with Biden, would have ended most campaigns in many cycles (similar comments did end Eric Swallwell's campaign many months ago). - Y&R: Old Articles
