Condi Rice? It truly is a revival age for warmongers. The View is and has always been right wing trash.
  3. I'm watching It Should Happen to You before it leaves Criterion, and it's remarkable how much Judy Holliday reminds me of Randall Edwards. RH truly did not know what they had with her.
  4. Well at least Jack isn't dying again. I wonder if that will happen when Melissa does finally return full time, to be honest. I hope not. Thank you as always for keeping us in the know.
  5. More NYT propaganda:
  6. Another lunatic gone, a Q-nut who believed NASA was trafficking children on the moon. Funny how these pieces of [!@#$%^&*], likely the same ones who cheered when gay men died of AIDS and said it was divine intervention, get so upset when people are rightfully glad to see toxic waste flushed from this planet.
  7. I think some liked his show, and of course it's nice to see a soap fan getting to live out their dream. But based on the games that DC played (especially with the AMC and OLTL revivals), I have no real interest in watching his shows. Anyone who loves the work of a talentless hack like Ron Carlivati or MAB is not a writer whose work I am going to rush to see.
  8. I know 91 is a long life, but still, another heartbreaker, one of many this year. Here is an interview of just a few days ago:
  9. Now that there are a few new people in here, I was going to say, before I forget, that if you haven't seen The Furies you may want to check it out. Dame Judith Anderson plays Barbara Stanwyck's stepmother (Stanwyck has severely dangerous daddy issues) - she isn't in it much, but every second she gives is superb.
  10. From Joan Collins' recent goodbye to Michael Nader, she revealed that John-Erik Hexum tested as Dex.
  11. Thanks @DaytimeFansome fun stories in there, and tidbits I had never heard, like Jon Erik Hexum testing for Dex.

  13. The amount of soap actors who liked his anti-vaxx posts - and there are likely many more who just don't have the guts to hit that button - tells you why he isn't going anywhere. This is a very conservative, right wing industry, which is one of the reasons it is nearly dead.
  14. This gave me a good laugh I desperately needed.
  15. You can find a number of late '70s and early '80s episodes on Youtube. After that it is much more spotty. Many times Youtube episodes have been wiped by copyright complaints. There are a few '60s and '70s episodes on Youtube as well.
  16. Apparently a number of B&B actors liked Ingo's anti-vaxx post. Not a surprise, I guess, but just another example of why soaps and social media are a putrid mix. I would also point out that several of them don't mind putting toxic chemicals in their faces so why do they object now...
  17. I get what you mean but I think she has the balance about right. They may not have been that close (I have no idea).
  18. Not sure where to put this, but it's a Bobbie Wygant interview with Kasi Lemmons on Eve's Bayou. Hopefully they will have more with the cast. @Vee @DramatistDreamer
  19. Joan had asked for a break to do a play.
  20. I don't think so - I think this wasn't long after Carly married AJ.
  21. There was a scene under Riche/Guza where Jason had been shot by a rival mob, but made sure to stop by the Q mansion to read a bedtime story to Michael. After he left, Monica noticed the blood-stained stuffed animal Jason had used to hide his wound while with Michael. The scene sickened me, most of all because this was shown as an example of what a loving father he was.
  22. It's a byproduct of how insular and meaningless soaps have become - scrambling over smaller and smaller sources of food. I guess I should be happy Twitter outrage has moved on from reminding us which actor is fat and how terrible that is.
