Sometimes I think there's more Italian Capitol on Youtube than English Capitol. Did they abandon the turban once Marj started? I think Carolyn had this certain ability to pull it off (even in that "who farted" face in that cast clip). Marla looks good but the turban is sort of wearing her.

Someone uploaded a chunk of Karen/Larry footage from what must be some time in 1981. I put it in the Videobash section. It's so nice to get to see more of Karen! I also don't understand why the show gave up on Larry as a leading man. This is also the first time I've seen this Anna Wolek (I think it's Phyllis Behar). Kind of drab.

I imagine Clive Davis had a lot to do with it as well, since he likes to keep people on a very tight leash. I know there were also rumors about Taylor Dayne, and he later used her as some cautionary tale (although that was for her music, not any sexuality).

I'm surprised the Daily Mail would make that public, even if it's been known but unspoken for years. Peter Tatchell is also not someone who would write a shock value column. I'm actually surprised he wrote in that paper of all things.

That's interesting, as I thought she still looked attractive all the way up to the end. Obviously there was wear and age but not anywhere near the Lindsay Lohan scale. I can't blame the family for doing whatever they can to get money together, but it sounds like Bobbi Kristina needs a lot of long term mental health care, and I don't know where those funds will come from.

Anyone who is repeatedly asked by a lot of the press to run for President is loved. I'm sure that was a consideration but his being loathed by much of the base must have been a factor too. He even had to start flip flopping around as governor to appease them (his efforts against Planned Parenthood, which went against the supposed "truce" he wanted on social issues). After that he dropped out. The GOP spent 8 years saying all of our economic problems were Clinton's fault, so I don't know what critical thinking is supposed to be on the economy. Mitch Daniels was in charge at a time when the economy began going into the toilet, so his views seem like Bizarro to me.
