  1. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-ll3p7BC3Q http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mWiZF1nUBx8&feature=related This is from 2011. I felt like Lily sang this 500 times back in the day...and she's singing it again. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WU4HSSfQP24&feature=related
  2. I can't believe how much all the Diego/Emily scenes look like REALLY cheap porn. There's nothing wrong with soaps and sex but scene after scene in this episode is full of positions which were clearly designed to "shock" viewers.
  3. Wow, thanks for finding that. There is not a day that goes by when that song isn't in my head. It truly is an experience.
  4. Yet another story that made Emilly look terrible. I can't keep track of how many stories those were... Oh it's that damn treehouse. It's spring 1996. I had quit ATWT at this time out of principle but still remember enough... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMJwoDrP-r0&feature=channel
  5. Did she ever make up with TLC? Weren't there lawsuits or something? Speaking of Jan Crouch:
  6. Good for him. I hated his work as Pat but I'm glad so many RH alums are always doing well.
  7. Wow if you didn't know better you'd think that clip was done this past week "Wherever she is..." Is that the Pebbles who used to be a performer (that car boy song) and manager of TLC? Or is that someone else? I know some feel Jesse was upset about not being the center of attention, but I wonder if a lot of it is his age and the world not being what he hoped it might have been by this time. Is that the channel which used to have the Crouches and PTL or are these all different channels?

  10. Didn't it start when we saw Nathan getting phone calls? I wonder if they changed the story partway through, perhaps due to them recently doing this story with Phyllis. Keesha suddenly became a tragic character, right around the time they changed her race. I didn't remember Dina having such a dowdy hairstyle at this time. I also thought she was in Paris when all this happened and Katharine eagerly called her to tell her about Audrey North. I didn't know she'd come back. Bringing Dina back for this always kind of felt like, "We don't have a storyline for the Abbotts." And they really didn't. I thought Phyllis was so much fun at this time. It seems like a long time ago.
  11. That's great! I always wanted to see Ilene and Ron together again. I guess this is the closest we'll get.
  12. LaPrincia looks like Brandy.

  14. Weren't many of those from relationships he had during their marriage? Or is this something else? Either way I can see why her family objected, but if Bobbi Kristina wanted him there, and they agree, they should have just let him sit where he wanted.
  15. He didn't have HIV, but, like you said, it was the risk he took which made Olivia refuse to forgive him. It's interesting because around this same time, ER had a story where an HIV-positive woman (Jeanne) reconciled with the man who had given her the disease. I just hate what they did to Nathan's character, but it seems like the show lost interest in him a long time before this. This was probably Olivia's last good storyline. I much preferred it when Olivia and Dru were close to later on when there was so much tension about Neil and about the modeling. I shudder to think of how this story would be told today. Some of the stuff between, say, Malcolm and Neil, always seemed so cheesy to me, but I got the feeling that the actors were allowed some room to improvise or to give their own touches. On today's show, I don't get that feeling when Debbi Morgan has to play Beulah (although hopefully I'm wrong).
  16. Hahahaha I love the start of this. I loved Dru in this story. I hated that Nathan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=olPv7e8Kr6U

  19. It's nice to see some of Lindsay Price and Lark Voorhies, before Brad Bell dumped in yet more of his usual sloppy writing. And the non-disastrous Beth Logan. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cDaJp-CN85I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNmf-15mhZA&feature=channel
  20. This is great. Thanks. That woman next to Joe looks a little like Erika (not her obviously).
  21. Laura was told she was too fat after her pregnancy. She lost a lot of weight, but they still fired her in favor of her replacement, Judy Dewey; this after being the show's junior leading lady during some of AW's most difficult years.
  22. I didn't know Dr. Joyce Brothers was on the show. Some of the story sounds more suited to a late 60's atmosphere. It's weird knowing James and Steve interact here, when later, James was the primary reason Steve was bankrupted and fled to Greece. I wonder if their past history was referenced when James returned. I know there were some scenes where James tried to apologize to Ellen and David. It's hard to believe Fashions would stay on to the very end of the show - and thinking back that last store actually looks a little like the first one.
  23. The magazine came out in May/June 1982, so I was just assuming on timeline. I guess it may have been early winter for them. Perhaps she meant a condition with a specific name.
  24. Yes, Anne Howard Bailey blatantly said after the strike that the idea for Sarah was supposed to be for Mary/Mason fans. As I think you said over there, it's bizarre to expect that Mary/Mason fans would have been happy seeing him in a similar story with a new woman.
