That promo E! used to run when they had Melrose repeats, it had a jingle which went like, "and what I saw I liked to see...I never knew...where evil grew..." Was this a promo Fox ever ran, and they just reused it? Or was this new? Is this on Youtube? It was catchy.

I think that's always going to have more of a draw than a brief stint on Corrie which no one even seemed to like. They could have brought up ATWT if they wanted a soap tie.

Derek was a "young" (on paper, anyway) man Jill met when she went to work at a beauty salon, or something. Jill fell in love with him. Katherine met him and soon fell in love with him herself, buying him his own salon, and reuniting him with his son. He loved Jill but grew to love Katherine, and of course her money. Jill moved on, while still having feelings for him. Meanwhile, his crazy ex Suzanne came to town and began poisoning Katherine, before having her committed. Katherine was presumed dead in a fire at the institution, and began gaslighting Suzanne, with the help of Liz Foster. After this Derek left on his own, I'm not sure what his exit was.

I never even knew Nikki had one of those. Did the character just disappear? Thanks. I wish they'd bring her back, perhaps as a secret schemer.
