  1. I think it's wardrobe too...I guess they didn't know how to give wardrobe for someone who puts on a little weight.
  2. So do Trevor and the other guy. Kind of a weird setting. Collins looks so stylish here. Sometimes I don't recognize her between this time and 1992.
  3. I didn't realize Tad pushed this hard for Brooke. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XzA-qF9p2l8
  4. video gone/private

  6. Pickett was such a breath of fresh air as Jackie - there were few actresses on soaps with that look, and also the ability to play subtext so much. Jackie was so obsessive over Phillip and yet she never seems like a psycho or a danger when you watch scenes of her, the way a soap would probably write her today. Mowery seems more like an Elizabeth recast to me. I wonder if they cast that actress just to diminish Jackie's role on the canvas.
  7. I think Pam and Bill may already be gone, aside from brief visits. Good for you remembering all the last names.
  8. In 1995, Robert Fontaine (ex-Rafe, SB) was asked to test for AMC's Mateo, but declined, as he was busy with his production company. In 1985, Tony Curtis was supposedly asked to appear on Dynasty.
  9. Maybe Kay should go on CW, they have sort of carried that tradition on.
  10. I was looking in a Digest from May 1995 and they said Lauren Koslow had a good shot of taking over as Kate. That did happen, in early 1996 (February? March? I can't remember). I wonder if they asked her not to take any other big jobs until then, or if they auditioned people all over again in late '95.
  11. Is Zoe related to Lenny? Thanks for letting us know. GL actors tend to pop up everywhere. A lot of people here seemed to hate Bonilla. I thought he was OK, just not a lead. Kay was very good, although I'm surprised he's still playing teenagers. I thought he was going to be more known on the indie scene, after L.I.E.
  12. Early, somewhat scheming Sharon, and Liz Foster Doris. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Agn78n5aMUA&feature=channel&list=UL
  13. Someone uploaded this episode to Dailymotion earlier this year. Not sure what time period of the show its from. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xo8vs1_family-affairs-channel-51997-rar_shortfilms
  14. Thanks for finding this. I always wondered what happened to Warner. Mitchell was so understated, and never got enough credit.
  15. Ann seems so dull it's hard to imagine her in a catfight. That was actually very well put together compared to a lot of soap catfights - they were both exhausted and delirious for most of the fight, and the whole thing was just the right amount of camp. I thought Gwyn was going to pop a boob when she got up. Ann's silver glitter belt is.... That floating head of Lily makes her look possessed.
  16. Thanks. She looks pretty there. For some reason I thought she wore a veil.
  17. I have always loved this song way more than I should. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPjy8LG0p4A
  18. The Yasmin stuff in the first articles in this post - was that a main story, or a B or C level story? I think the brothers both wanting her is a little trite. It seems like they wanted to take Pete's stories in a very different direction when he returned, as there's no mention of crime sagas. Was Charlotte gone by the time he hooked up with her sister?
  19. Bill Devane talks about Palm Springs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qys6hWBMmag
  20. Thanks for sharing those. The story sounds very good, and very well thought out. I read that she was the first actor from Family Affairs to win a BSA.
  21. Thanks. I'd never seen this, or even heard of this show. It's kind of scary to think the show was almost canceled a few months after this. I laughed when they acted like Robert Newman had just rejoined the show. I'd forgotten how much I disliked Reva's hair at this time. And that awful hair on Rick, ugh.
  22. Look at how beautifully crafted the opening of this episode is. It reminds me a little of a KLF video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWIzqStvePI&feature=plcp
  23. We no longer have MAB to "honor history," but fortunately we can close the gap a little with these great uploads yr continues to provide. This one has a hilarious mess of a scene where Cole whoops ass. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbthr04INU4&feature=autoplay&list=ULVim5lf9ra2E&playnext=6
