Did Heather leave because of her marriage or did the show not have any plans for Sandy anyway? Sandy always seems like a lost opportunity. It's too bad Kenney didn't stay with Sunset Beach. The show's first year was a mess.

They aren't editing him out of episodes, so he will probably be back. Tommy has always been a bust, played by an actor who was clearly 5-10 years too old for the role. Another example of Collinson casting on name, not whether the show needed the character. Speaking of that, rumors are Stella will sell the Rovers and the buyer turns out to be Steve. I think putting him back there is kind of a bore, but makes more sense than wan St. Stella, especially with Liz returning. I just hope they won't try to make Michelle into Bet Lynch again.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but is there a reason why the OC women have new quotes every season, but some of the others reuse the same one year after year? The one who seems to have the most consistently well-written tags is Alexis, even though I assume she's fairly disposable to the show. (still not sure how someone was actually persuaded to use "my tank is full, and I'm driving into my future") Is the season 5 NYC opening anywhere?

Reading a November 1975 Daily TV Serials, where Mart Hulswit realized that Pat Collins, who was playing a surgeon in an OR scene with Ed, had played Ed as a small child. They compared notes on the character.

Chandler Hill Harben was offered a role on Y&R, but was cast as Rico on The Doctors instead (1975).
