  1. I don't really follow Porsha's full story about her marriage - is this the first time she's claimed her husband was physically abusing her?
  2. Todd's mother reminds me of George Jefferson's mother. For all the talk of Kandi settling for Todd, he's not a bad looking guy at all. I liked that the promo ended on the shot of the lion.
  3. They should have had her come back for the end when Allison was getting engaged or married. Huge waste of a return. Goutman just sucked.
  4. I would hope the fiasco that was the Archie story would tell people not to expect anything out of a DTC "mystery."
  5. I think that's a rightful interpretation. I don't think there's any conscious love at this time, especially on Jaime's side. I'd say the material is ambiguous. At this time I'd rather the show not go anywhere beyond ambiguity. I think it would spoil what they have. With that said, scenes like this are what I used to get on soap operas - it's understated longing and not knowing how to say goodbye, and it's so beautifully written, acted, and directed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSzf7haBapc And things like his getting her new armor (custom designed perfectly for her body and the perfect color for her), and her naming her sword "Oathkeeper" (essentially telling him that in her eyes he is a man of honor, this being said to a man who has spent most of his life being known as dishonorable and traitorous) - that's more romantic writing, intentional or not, than anything I've seen on a lot of shows in ages.
  6. What did people think about this Santana? She seems a little old to me.

  8. I don't think so. I think it started a few months after. The main strike stuff was the Old West being dragged out, and...I'm not sure of the others. Faux Bo, maybe?
  9. One of the things that strikes me about some of these recent episodes is how much darker the Lannisters are getting (and they've always been dark...). I don't know how much is intentional and how much isn't, but, for instance, that Tommen and Margaery scene. I saw some fans saying she was almost grooming him. And I really don't think she was, I don't think that was the intent of the scene, and I know that age issues (Natalie Dormer is about 31 I believe) play a part compared to the ages they were in the books, but I do wonder, if genders were reversed, if that scene would have made the air at all. I know some fans think Margaery is a lesbian. I don't think the show is saying that, but it would be an interesting twist.
  10. Maybe she was afraid Joffrey would rape or kill Margaery, or that his child would be evil.
  11. She still looks good, bad makeup department on GH aside.
  12. Apparently the Jaime/Cersei stuff was supposed to be implied in their scene in this episode. (the poor writer of this episode - he seems to be very fond of Jaime/Brienne OTP; I can imagine him being like, "thanks a [!@#$%^&*] lot," to D&D and Alex Graves...in his head, anyway). http://www.hbo.com/#/game-of-thrones/episodes/4/34-oathkeeper/interview/bryan-cogman-s4.html
  13. I felt a little sorry for her in that they likely had to have that article just because of all the nepotism charges...I was never a big fan of Cricket either, although like you I kind of put that on Danny.
  14. Never seen that photo. She looks like a crazed kids' show host.

  17. I hadn't seen the first one. Nice pants, Mart...you can tell what decade this was. I agree about Beaty. He had a lot of charisma.
  18. Some fan art things, with the characters dressed in '80s and '90s clothes. My favorites are Ramsey, Bran, and Bronn. (Bran's gave me a good laugh) http://society6.com/artist/Moshikun
  19. I forgot to say how excited I am that we'll be going back to The Eyrie. It was one of the best parts of season 1 for me, and truly a fascinating place.
