  1. How many Dothraki are left? I remember many being killed in season 2 but there were still a number of them on the boat at the start of season 3. Are they still all around?
  2. As beebs said, great to see that nod to Beverlee McKinsey. And nice that you remembered Michelle. Poor Dona is always in trouble.
  3. I've read some complaints that he doesn't work (Daario) that well compared to the books because in the books he's very colorful and bright (blue beard, fancy clothes). The blue beard would have looked ridiculous, but I do wish they'd kept the clothes.
  4. This man reminds me of that man from Duck Dynasty - they're both old white men who think they are full of smarts and great intellectual theories (but not the kind from those evil America hating colleges and book reading liberals...). They think it's clever and somehow sympathetic to say that black people are "slaves" to the "welfare state" and were so much happier, or would be happier, if they remembered their place. Both men seem to have a need to take us back to cotton fields. http://www.thewire.com/politics/2014/04/the-difference-between-cliven-bundy-and-phil-robertson-is-that-bundy-didnt-invoke-religion/361197/ Here is a writeup of those who supported him and their current backtracks. http://www.thewire.com/politics/2014/04/a-list-of-cliven-bundys-supporters-now-that-we-know-hes-a-pro-slavery-racist/361154/ As the article mentions, many Republicans did avoid him, as they had brains in their head. This happens again and again. The far right - and many in the media - desperately try to elevate racist, extreme white men (and occasionally women) as the voice of freedom and the public.
  5. Most of what she did write for him sucked, although to be honest I thought most of his stories kind of sucked.
  6. I think Susan might have been with someone when she first met Thorsten, so I'm not sure when they first got together. I can't remember though, I'm just going off old memories of interviews from the period. I think George was already gone as Tony by the time the audio tapes began.
  7. I think she plays up the sexuality a bit too much, but then, I've never seen Patty Lotz in the role. She certainly has charisma. Ava gets more comparison to Erica, but everything here is so much more Rachel, to me.
  8. I think Robb's biggest weakness was his belief that he could get what he wanted just because he thought it was the right thing and it was what he wanted. That's what killed his father, yet he didn't even see himself repeating the same patterns by choosing not to marry the Frey daughter. I think Tyrion would have killed Joffrey if he felt he absolutely had to - if Joffrey's madness became too much and threatened the family and their rule (Tywin would likely do the same), but most of the time, you're right, he wouldn't. I do think Tywin is one of the big reasons Cersei hates Tywin. It's not all on him, as Jaime doesn't hate Tyrion, but Cersei I think is more of her father's daughter, or on some level she wants to be.
  9. Thanks. That's amazing. I guess some of that wouldn't have made the air (the racier parts) and was just for audition. They were really playing up the Rachel Davis side of Ava here, even more than the Erica side. I wish SFK was here more often, I think he'd like this. She's not bad, if a little OTT. I always enjoyed her on USA ("UP All Night"). I notice they mentioned brothers, which was dropped later on.
  10. Great to hear! Meg Ryan, her NBC project not even picked up for a pilot, will now be doing the voice of the mother on How I Met Your Dad. (I guess it's for the best that she doesn't actually appear oncamera...) http://www.usmagazine.com/entertainment/news/meg-ryan-cast-how-i-met-your-dad-narrator-2014234
  11. I agree with you. And in her defense, Tyrion has said many times that he will make her pay. But he's not a stupid guy. He wouldn't do it like that. I think she's just blinded by her grief and her ever-increasing mania. I don't think it helps that she truly believes he killed their mother and he was born to be some sort of curse on the family. I always wish we could see some flashbacks of the mother. She must have been special for Tywin to love her, as he doesn't love anyone, ever.
  12. I doubt most of them care whether Tyrion lives or dies. They just don't want to be involved in it.
  13. I haven't had a chance to listen to a lot of them, but OLTL audio tapes are still being uploaded (from 1977 and 1978) https://www.youtube.com/user/artax84z
  14. I don't think it will last for 10 years either - I think 6 or 7 at the most. That's just sort of an open-ended answer, which I prefer to the "I have a plan" type answers that often end in show collapsing on their own muddled pomposity.
  15. Did Stacey's mother or father return? I don't know either.
  16. GRRM interview. http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/news/george-r-r-martin-the-rolling-stone-interview-20140423

  18. http://blogs.amctv.com/the-walking-dead/2014/04/the-walking-dead-showrunner-scott-gimple-answers-fan-questions-part-i/ http://blogs.amctv.com/the-walking-dead/2014/04/the-walking-dead-showrunner-scott-gimple-answers-fan-questions-part-ii/#more-906214978 Gimple cracks me up. Another one (this is from right after the finale but he talks a little about setting up the details of the Lizzie story). https://tv.yahoo.com/blogs/tv-news/-the-walking-dead--showrunner-scott-gimple--we-already-know-what-s-happening-in-season-5----and-6-003222504.html
  19. Thanks. They also have a 1978 episode with Denise Cavanaugh. Some great stuff there.
  20. I think, from some of the reviews I've read via SOD, that Jeremy's story with Stacey was saving her from Clay and his plans to institutionalize her. I'm not sure. cassadine, I think there was some discussion of Taggart's time as headwriter on earlier pages. I haven't watched that era so I can't say. I have another interview with her from a few months later. i will try to post that soon.
  21. January 1993 Weekly.
  22. It would be great to see Sheree again.
