Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Last year we had to spend several episodes where Aviva berated Sonja and Ramona for things LUANN did. Despite not even being there she was adamant that they were out whoring around and bringing men home. As Carole said, the woman is deranged.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Carole bringing up the ghostwriter thing makes perfect sense considering the entire time Aviva was sucking up Carole's ass she never mentioned writing or being a writer. This is obviously a book deal that was given to her based on her appearance on the show. It's perfectly reasonable to hire a writer to co-write you book when you aren't a writer. Every non-Carole housewife (except Simon & Alex who co-wrote their book) had a ghostwriter or a co-writer. Most celebrities have co-writers are ghostwriters, yet we're meant to believe Aviva wrote hers by herself? I just don't buy it. From Carole's blog:

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Next week looks AMAZING for NYC. When Carole grabbed Aviva's face she looked like she wanted to go Nene-on-Kim on her. Aviva is just so nasty! I LOVE HER! It takes very little to set her off and then she is VICIOUS! I couldn't believe the way she came after Carole. It was clear that Carole wasn't insulting her with the ghostwriter reference since AVIVA IS NOT A WRITER. And I absolutely believe Carole when she says Aviva had ASKED HER to find a co-writer, hence why she brought it up. Aviva is VERY sneaky and she doesn't need the truth on her side to adamantly state things. I just can't believe they're getting crunk so fast. And I LOVE that it feels natural and not forced. Other highlights are Heather, who is just killing it at life! Holla! the stuff with her son is VERY real and heart-wrenching and I love that she pays tribute to the sons donor. This reminds me of Aviva with the charity (for the children who are missing legs!) last season. Because of how these issues affected these women you actually believe that they're truly down for these causes and not doing it for publicity. Another scene I can't wait for is Avery going to college. I have been riding with Avery since season one. She's a mini-Ramona in looks, but *so* different in personality. It's going to be so sad to see her leave. THIS is a Real Housechild. We've seen so many be obnoxious and it's nice to see one that is real and relatable like Avery. !@#$%^&*] Yolanda and her kids, I'm Team Avery over every Housechild. Seeing Ramona so emotional over her leaving is giving me life. Again, this just feels real and they're filming at the perfect time. Ramona is the MVP of this season so far for presenting a new side of herself and it not coming off forced. Overall I give RHONY the MVP for Comeback Kid. They are WORKING it this season and it doesn't feel forced or desperate. I HOPE the ratings go up. IMO having 3 Housewives shows at once is a huge mistake. I hope the ratings go up once it's just ATL is gone.

The Kylie Minogue Thread
I find Into The Blue to be an epic song and her best lead single since Can't Get You Out Of My Head. I can't understand why her label didn't do more promo for it. She should've performed it on The Brits and the fact that they didn't do one televised performance in the UK is just crazy. I was so sad to see it miss the top 10. Sexercize is meant as a buzz track and I hope it does well. The album is at #2 in the charts, which is good at least. Still shocked that she's with Roc Nation and they've done so little to promote. It'll be interesting to see what the promo is like in the US. The actual album is very good. I Was Gonna Cancel is FANTASTIC and sounds unique to Kylie and not like Pharrell gave her cast-offs. Same with the two Sia (who executive produced the album) written songs, Sexercize and Kiss Me Once which are both album highlights that sound like Kylie songs. If Only is probably the highest high on the album and definitely deserves the single treatment. Sexy Love, If Only, Kiss Me Once, I Was Gonna Cancel and Les Sex could all be good singles from this album. I hope she releases different singles in different territories so we get more videos!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Luann's feud with Ramona was one of the most poorly acted reality stories I've ever seen. She came off very desperate and Ramona seemed confused by it. Ramona is still friends with Alex and I believe Bethenny keeps in touch with Alex, Sonja and Ramona, but I doubt they are close.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It's so crazy to think of all the different sides to Luann we've been able to see. She was REALLY vicious in season 4. I loved her that way, especially with Alex. That is one of the biggest reasons Luann didn't work in season 5 for me. They got rid of her closest allies (Jill/Kelly) and her only rival (Alex). I think Alex would've been the perfect bridge so the season didn't start off boring. Her and Luann would've been going at it and she would've clicked with Heather and Carole.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That season 3 reunion is in the Top 5 reunions for me. It was just classic. The entire arc with Kelly was so hilarious because she was so delusional. Even her own team seemed embarrassed by her. If I were to rank my Top 5 Reunions, it would probably be: 1. RHOA: Season 4 - This reunion gets top placing due to how fabulous everybody looked and because it wasn't just one moment that was good, but the entire 3 parts. This was drag levels of shade being thrown and the reads were out of this world. 2. RHONJ: Season 2 - Again, this was a reunion that was good from beginning to end with everybody in the mix. The ending hug with Jacqueline and Danielle will forever be in my heart! 3. RHONY: Season 3 - It just doesn't get more entertaining than this. Everybody got into the action and between Kelly, Bethenny and Jill, there wasn't a bad moment. 4. RHOA: Season 1 - I shouldn't even need to explain this one. Nene on fire about to beat Kim's ass, Lisa about to kill Kim for talking about her kids, DeShawn giggling like a damn fool. This was must see. This set the standard IMO. 5. RHODC - Odd choice to some, but I found this very entertaining and it's no surprise ratings went up for both of these episodes. The ladies were fired up and looked fabulous. I found them a lot more polished (especially Cat) and ready to go. I think Andy and the other ladies did a good job of taking Michaele to task for the White House incident and we got some good moments with Cat being confronted for being a potential racist. I thought this reunion did a good job to set up the second season that never was. Shame we never got a follow through with Stacie's trip to Kenya.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I think she cares, but she's not reacting the way they want her to. I think this was a huge miscalculation on everyone's part to try and sell Lisa as the villain this season. I think Lisa would be an absolute fool to even consider being friends with Brandi. Basically Brandi's entire time on the show she has been at odds with Kyle and talked mad shyt about her and especially Kim. I'm not saying it wasn't deserved, but the fact that she's close with the Richard sisters is absolutely bizarre. And Yolanda has suddenly gotten a pass when her and Kyle were feuding over Yolanda calling her a liar last season. When did they patch things up? Their relationship and why Kyle let that slide make no sense to me. I'm so over Yolanda and Brandi.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
LMAO! I'm done with Lisa. Why is she so effortless in her slayage?! :D I love that she doesn't let these women work her up too much. I hope that if she does return next season that she makes no efforts to repair things with Yolanda or Brandi. I feel Kyle burned herself by listening to Yolanda and Brandi, two people who have said and done much worse things to her.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I feel like Peter is almost always doing the most, that's been his MO the entire season. Peter has always been a complete jerk the difference is that it's expanding beyond the people he typically is rude to so it's a bigger story. Messing with Cynthia, Kandi and Porsha is one thing, but going after Nene (although I do feel he was in the right) is never going to be taken lying down. Sheree was right when she said these ladies are scared to approach Nene in the way that she and Kim did. If these women remain scared I'm glad Peter is at least taking her to task.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Kenya, Nene, Cynthia, Kandi, Marlo, Kim and Sheree would be epic. After WWHL yesterday I think you'd have a team of Nene/Kim/Sheree vs everybody and of course at some point Nene/Kim/Sheree would fall apart and it would all be glorious to watch. ETA: I COMPLETELY disagree that Peter is trying too hard. LET HIM HOLD HIS PEACH! As we learned on Beverly Hills this past season, you need a strong cast of supporting characters or it doesn't work. Peter is the only thing Cynthia has going for herself other than the friendship with Nene. In order to be a GREAT housewife you need a good non-housewife scene partner and Peter is that in spades. I LOVE the way the husbands get a fair amount of screentime. It's one of the many reasons ATL is epic, as opposed to some of the other shows. Peter is the only reason I want Cynthia to stick around with his sexy Uncle Ben looking ass.

I'm watching the RHOBH finale and Ken is serving these bitches DUST. I lurve this!!!! Kim apologizing to him was the most awkward thing ever lol. I knew I always liked Ken for a reason.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
To fill you in, Lydia quit at the last minute which I think threw them for a loop. Rumor-mill has it that they had difficulty finding new wives since OC doesn't pay as well as others. Gretchen was fired due to testing poorly in focus groups who found her storylines fake. My guess is that Alexis simply was played out. She was only invited last year as a last minute desperation move. Considering all the stress they had putting the season together, I do think it looks good. Season 8 was a nice send off for the old era with the 100 episode celebration, the return of an original housewife and a cast mostly made up of people we're familiar with. Now they can hopefully have a successful reboot and continue on for many years. IMO RHOC is the most rock solid of the franchises. The ladies and producers know their stuff. Even the one-season housewives tend to be good. They know the secret to keeping things fresh.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHODC was panned before it even premiered. It had huge amounts of bad press because of the White House incident. The ratings also weren't terrible. They were certainly better than Miami which got a reprieve. They were good enough for a second season IMO.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Kyle and Carlton both look stunning. The others all look "meh" to "terrible" IMO. On the Carole/Aviva front I feel I need to comment because I see comments all over about Carole being bitchy. I do see where she is coming from. She said that Aviva told her and Heather that she had apologized for the things she did to Ramona and Sonja which is why they had remained friendly and defensive of her as the season went on. Once it began airing and Aviva was trashing them week-after-week (including the first week of St. Barth's), it proved that she was lying. She only started apologizing after she got viewer backlash. I can see how Heather and Carole could feel burned by Aviva in that regard. I think ALL of the ladies have bent over backwards to accommodate Aviva, which almost makes it seem like they are scared of her. I took Ramona and Sonja making up with her as meaning they simply didn't want the drama of dealing with her, not that they genuinely forgive her and want to be her friend.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Yes! They could've added Erica and perhaps an unrelated housewife, but considering the juicy stories we know happened, they were fools to cancel it. EVERYBODY got divorced and I'm sure Lynda and Ebong are done as well. Looking at how hard it was to squeeze juice out of Miami, they could've saved themselves a headache by just giving DC a chance to thrive on it's own.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I mentioned earlier that I was re-watching RHOA for the first time since it originally aired and now I'm halfway through with season one. I also decided to go ahead to slowly start purchasing the older seasons of RHONY, RHOC and the only RHODC season. So far I've watched 3 episodes of DC and it gets better with age. One thing that I like is that there is wealth, but a DC wealth and not what you would get in New York, Beverly Hills or a Miami. I think the lack of glamour is a part of what may have done this show in. The closest you get to the typical wealth comes from the Snake Oil Salesmen, Tarq and Michaele. So far we've seen them try to pass off beer as wine, have their lawyer threaten Paul with a lawsuit if he doesn't provide a signed document absolving them of having to pay for his birthday party that THEY planned and threw and then jumping at a last minute trip to Paris with Stacie! It's just crazy! How they managed to stay out of jail with the high level of fraud they were presenting is beyond me. Another thing I like with DC is that they're honest about the women getting to know each other. Cat is clearly new to DC and that is acknowledged and a major part of her story arc. Stacie is also new to this group and they allow us to see her become friends with the ladies instead of creating a ridiculous tie to one and forcing her on that person. Mary, Lynda, Michaele and Paul all know each other and that is enough. I also think that Paul comes off more like a housewife than I remembered. He is featured as much as the housewives, including in scenes by himself (with talking heads) at his apartment. Maybe for season two he should've been made a housewife. In general they definately understood that "Friends of the Housewives" are a good thing. We have so many of them, plus the husbands get a big focus here. I've always liked DC, but re-watching it is definitely giving me a new appreciation for it. Very interesting, different take on a Real Housewives series and very real. They did it their own way and I feel they have one good season to be proud of. Their one big mistake was making the White House incident the season finale as opposed to letting it fall in the middle of the season as it actually happened. Perhaps it could've given them a mid-season ratings boost, which they could've sustained since we know they still had all of the Cat/Erika drama after that, plus Mary's fashion show (which they cut) along with most of the other footage which couldn't be used due to the new timeline.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
The irony here is that you see Aviva fighting with everyone except Ramona and Sonja in the supertrailer. You also see Kristen arguing with a lot of the women. I'm curious where things settle between everyone and what the MAJOR conflicts will be as opposed to misunderstandings. Please stop. It's not fair to post a gif from the greatest reunion ever when Beverly Hills is about to air a tired 3-part starting tomorrow. Just not fair.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I know this season of RHOBH was mostly a bust, but I really hope they keep both new housewives! I know I've said it before, but I'm watching the last three episodes and both of the new girls blend so well. Plus with Lisa only speaking to them, it would make sense to keep them. Carlton in particular is PERFECT in scenes with Lisa. I enjoy them together not in a Ramona/Sonja, Nene/Kim sort of way, but they just seem to clique. I think it's the fact that they're both British. As long as they keep Carlton away from trying to be sexy I do feel like she can be interesting. I also love her with Kyle. If they could keep mostly the same cast, minus Kim and bring back Camille and/or Adrienne things would explode. ETA: And how could I forget? Now that I've seen it I am still Team Lisa. Yolanda and Kim came off TERRIBLY in the Puerto Rico scenes. I think Kyle came out the best because she was being reasonable and trying to find answers. Yolanda was going off on Ken at the beach before he had even done anything and Kim just needs to shut her ass up. She needs to give them their Tiffany gift back if she is going to continue to hold it against them for TELLING HER they weren't coming to her stupid ass party and sending an EXPENSIVE gift.

Nene is hard headed, but for Aviva it goes far beyond that. I think Aviva's biggest problem is that she wasn't being herself so now that truer parts of her personality have come out it's hard for her to maintain her previous persona with the reality of who she is.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
New York was perfection. Not only did the show look beautiful, but the chemistry works among the ladies and they all brought it with the fashions. I know many hate the "pile-ups" on these shows, but the situation with Aviva is a little unique. Besides Nene, I don't think there has been a housewife that is as set in her ways. Aviva believed her hype last season and during and after filming never saw where she was in the wrong. It was so obvious at the reunion that she wanted to kill everybody, but she had to keep quiet to try and salvage her image. With the premiere it seems like she's doing the same, but again it doesn't seem genuine. It's not a surprise starting next week that she kicks off all the drama. She's clearly very angry for being "wronged" and there is no way she can hold it in. I can't wait for Carole vs Aviva. The Bravo clips look good! Kristen was a perfect choice. She seems to be a good age, is an actual housewife and has something new to bring to the show. She seems like a less trashy Brandi Glanville, so I can see how they are friends. Sonja is the mess she always is, but her outfits were stunning so I forgive her. Speaking of stunning, Ramona DID look a million bucks. Her look was on point and I liked how subdued, but Ramona-ish she was. I know opinions are mixed, but she is truly a RH star and certainly earned the right to be the last one standing here. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Carole and Heather's developed friendship. You can tell it's genuine and they just seem FUN together. I've always loved Carole and she didn't disappoint this week. I think she has great talking heads (as a writer I expect nothing less), her fashions are fun and I do think she's reasonable in her interactions with the other ladies. I don't see her seeing out a lot of trouble, but I look forward to seeing how she handles the conflict with Aviva. I didn't miss The Countess, but I think that's mostly because the premiere felt very full and I know she'll appear heavily later on. After a truly terrible season of Beverly Hills I'm glad that NYC is back and seems on course to have a memorable season. I hope the ratings perk up.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Kenya's acting career has been much more successful than Nene and I'm sure she's made a lot more money as well (from acting, not reality tv). Kenya has had regular guest starring roles for almost 20 years, plus small film parts and bigger parts in Direct To DVD films. She's also produced films. I don't think she has anything to be ashamed of in terms of her career. I do think it's stupid of her not to pursue acting again now that she has the platform of this show. As for Nene's acting career, so far she has TWO roles given to her by the same person. My guess is that he liked RHOA and Nene and wanted her on the show, period. Until she starts getting other types of acting gigs then I don't think it's fair to say she's a successful actor yet. I think she COULD be, but I don't know that she wants to work as hard as it would take to get there. From Glee and The New Normal it was clear she still needs lots of acting class to carry her natural charisma through. In other housewives news, I decided to buy season 1 of RHONY, RHODC and RHOA on Amazon Video and I'm starting with RHOA, which I haven't re-watched since it first aired. This is like an entirely new show, but even with DeShawn, this show was perfectly cast. With DeShawn I wouldn't have wanted her long term, but she served her purpose well in season one and at least added the money element to the show. She also had a disasterous charity event, which these shows thrive on. ETA: I just reached Sheree's introduction and she is RIDICULOUS!! When I think of her I think of brokeness so this is just shocking. Her staff with a chef, maid, PR person, assistant AND hairstylist Lawrence (who I didn't realize was an original cast member!)! This stuff is nuts. Re-watching this is reminding me how PERFECT Sheree's arc was from seasons 1-4. This is a true downfall of a tired bitch. I know many say that RHOC showed the recession, but Sheree is just perfection when it comes to the overspending athlete wives.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
April 14. Supertrailer: http://www.eonline.com/news/519451/real-housewives-of-orange-county-season-9-first-look-meet-the-new-ladies-of-the-oc-watch-now It's interesting that the "fame whore" Danielle that we heard so much about isn't an official housewife. I must say, the revamp looks absolutely successful. Gretchen and Alexis had their day, but I LOVE the way OC revamps itself. This season looks very interesting and modern for a Real Housewives series, but I didn't feel like they were trying too hard or manipulating things to make it interesting. Between this and RHONY, I'm going to be a happy camper the next few months.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I love that when Brandi is clearly trying to reconcile with Ken and Lisa his face basically says it all. I feel she pulled a Jill Zarin and like Jill with Bethenny, this is going to backfire on her. It's like the exact same story. I'm sure they knew this season lacked storyline so Brandi created this feud with Lisa in an effort to get big ratings and headlines. Only problem is, it only worked in Lisa's favor. I didn't think Joyce and Carlton were huge successes, but I think they both need to come back similar to RHONY bringing back all 3 new women. I would dump Kim and bring in one new HW, but somebody very rich and very dynamic. If they could get Lisa Rinna that would be great. Not only is she rich and an over the top personality, but she's already well connected in the cast and her family life would be interesting. Or they could go against type and finally cast a black housewife. Next season also needs to bring back the "friends" and I'd go as far as to say they need new producers at this point. I wouldn't drastically change the cast though.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I have nicer wigs than that mess on her head.
