MOST ACTION-PACKED MONTH EVER!

We’re going to do something no show has ever done before which is, unofficially, kick off our sweeps period two weeks before May even starts. We’ve been wanting either to resolve stories or propel them to new levels during May sweeps, so we want to give it the ample six-week time period it necessitates. And it does necessitate this time frame. The theme of April and May is definitely secrets. Almost everyone on the show has a secret - at least someone in every story does. And this six-week time frame is going to be the time when we reveal all of them in one way or another - by either a ) telling the audience or b ) revealing it to the characters. This sweeps is going to have it all: a few dramatic exits, a wedding ceremony, a divorce, a death, pregnancy drama, a whodunit reveal, a crossover from Passions, returns, and a paternity reveal. A few exits will be occurring, as well. Stefano has launched a war on the Horton’s, the Brady’s, and the Carver’s. He’s assembled an army that consists of Cassie, Tek, Jack, and Celeste. This May, the war will reach its climax. Lives and relationships with lay in its wake! It’s going to be a very exciting time!

Stefano/Shawn/Caroline/Victor/Kate: Stefano very obviously has this vendetta against the Brady’s. We’ll finally found out why. Shawn and Caroline will have a wedding vow renewal ceremony in May. And what would a soap wedding be if it wasn’t the center of some major drama? It is going to be a huge event that will change the course of all of the Brady’s lives.

Stefano/Jack/Jen: Jennifer will learn the truth about Jack’s secret during the month of May. This is the big story J/J fans have been waiting for. He has done an unforgivable thing in the name of protecting his family. J/J won’t be able to get through this anytime soon….but the good news is there won’t be any third parties to take advantage of their situation. It’s just Jack and Jennifer and them picking up the pieces of their lives.

Stefano/Celeste/Tek/Lexie/Abe: All of the secrets that have plagued the Carvers will be out on the table during this six-week sweeps period. One character will leave the show. Celeste’s secret will be exposed. It’s going to have a huge impact on Abe and Lexie.

Lucas/Sami/Austin/Carrie: These four are going to continue their search for Will. Chris Gerst has been let go from the show so Will will be gone for a while, but he‘ll be back. Sami and Carrie’s secrets will both be exposed to all of the characters involved.

Liam/Hope/Bo/Billie: This set will be back the second week of April. During the time they've been away, Bo and Billie have bonded a lot. Hope has led a painstaking search to find the man she was with during her time as Princess Gina. When we see her again, she will have finally found him. Bo and Billie will fall in love again on their way to find Georgia. Hope will uncover her past with Liam. All of them will find themselves back in Salem. The real Georgia will shake things up with Bo and Hope and Billie the way she should have the first time around.

Rex/Mimi/Shawn/Belle/Jan: Mimi and Rex will be back on the scene in mid-April. He will finally have tracked her down at the Green Mountain Lodge where she’s taken refuge after her wedding disaster with Shawn. Jan is still a villainess, as readers now know. The triangle between Jan/Shawn/Belle will heat up!

Abby/Max/Cassie: Max’s secret past will be revealed to the audience. These three will be going on an exciting adventure together to find WIll. Cassie is going to make a bold statement in May when she must finally choose between backstabbing Stefano or following through on his plans for the Brady’s.

Marlena/John: John and Marlena free themselves from Stefano, but there is a shocking twist that comes along with it. I’m not sure daytime has ever done a storyline like this before.

Poison Ivy: Ivy Winthrop will be heading through Salem and leave lives in shambles in her wake. She has connections to Kate, Max, and Celeste. She will help expose all of their secrets to the audience

WHO SHOT TONY?: The first day of our May Sweeps (Friday, April 14th) will kick off with the reveal of who killed Tony. The fallout is going to be big.

Frankie: Frankie is going to be back and find love in an unpredictable place.
