Will and Luke backtrack to the scene of the crime. Will doesn't remember anything but on the drive back, he notices a strange looking tree and has a flash of seeing that same tree the night of the party. Luke consoles Will and tells him that they'll find out if Will was the one who hit Elaine.

John lectures Emily on trying to drink everything away. Emily grieve the loss of her relationship with Andy and begs John to leave her alone. John refuses and offers to drive Emily home. All the way home, she talks of how she always finds a way of messing up everything in her life. Emily's shocked when they pull in and Andy's waiting at Susan's front door.

Carly tells Jack of talking with the man that could help Emma, but he's in Costa Rica on vacation and won't be back until the first week of September. Jack remembers that the bank gave Emma until the end of the month and tells Carly that they don't have that long. Carly calls the man again and tells Mr. Hamilton to hurry up.

Meg immediately wants to know why Dusty is over at Lucinda's. Dusty explains that Meg needs to sit down for this one. Brokenhearted, Dusty tells Meg of how he found out about her pregnancy and didn't believe her. Out of spontaneous circumstances, he slept with Lucy. Meg begins to go off, but Dusty tells her that's not all. He just found out that Lucy is carrying a child of his as well. Meg, furious yet hurt, calmly gets up and drives away. Dusty yells for her as she drives away.
