It's been almost 20 years and yet, this episode still stands up just as perfectly as it did when I watched it in real time. The dialogue and the acting between KMc & MS are just wonderful. Emily McLaughlin (Jessie) died; BJ & Stone were killed off; and Monica was diagnosed with breast cancer all within a few years. We had no way of knowing at this point that nearly every character who came to GH in the years she was away would be written off the program. That's part of why it was so lambasted.
