YAY, DAYS!!! I am hoping the improvements coming to DAYS, unrest at B&B, and dissatisfaction in most of its fans will lead to DAYS taking the #2 spot that it deserves! But I am happy/grateful for this week, and I don't want to get too ahead of myself.

Y&R deserves its gain. The show was on fire last week.

As for PSNS, it deserves to stay stagnant. So much untapped potential, per usual!

Sad to see GH go up!

GH's ratings are still in the toilet. They got a small bump in the HH from 2.4 to 2.5 - both are dismal ratings. They also fell to 1.5 in the 18-49 demos. GH use to own the 18-49 demo and were #2 in that demo for the last 2 months. They have gone from 2.1/2.0 to 1.6/1.5. Why Guza still has a job is beyond me.

GH is 1.6 in demos - and LIVE had 1.5?

I LOVE THAT DAYS IS IMPROVING. BUT IT SUCKS THOUGH B/C IT SEEMS WHENEVER DAYS OR NBC seem to do good the ratings are always delayed. it sucks iand i hate that it happens. dont worry TOUPS i no its not ur fault

I'm amazed at how little the things we think of as "common knowledge" on the message boards are known by off-liners. Even at SuperStar Weekend, any ATWT fan I met that didn't post online had no idea Oakdale Confidential was a real book, despite having commercials for it during the show. And they have no clue who the writers are or which actors are dating or what not.

Exactly. People who don't go online have almost no idea about what's going on with a soap. My grandmother obviously never used the internet or even read the soap mags, and didn't even know any of the actors' names who played the characters, who the head writer was, the exec. producer, etc, despite there being end credits and such.

Growing up, I had no idea about the writing changes on the shows, which is why I still have trouble saying what HW wrote a certain storyline. Also, actors could quit, get fired, renew, come back, whatever...we knew nothing about it. And the best part was no SPOILERS! Those were good times.
