July 8, 200619 yr Member I went to see this tonight and it was great. Johnny Depp was great as was Orlando Bloom. I loved the way that they lead into the 3rd movie. And there was a very surprising twist at the end. For some reason the person that played Davy Jones seemed familuar, but I didn't stay around to see who played him.
July 8, 200619 yr Author Member I loved this one just as much as I loved the first one, and with the this one ended I can't wait to see the 3rd movie.

July 8, 200619 yr Member Wow! I did NOT expect that! I didn't love the first one, but I think this one looks better so I was looking forward to it.
July 9, 200619 yr Member Loved it. And I definitely loved the twist at the end. I was bummed when I realized that it was over.
July 9, 200619 yr Author Member Loved it. And I definitely loved the twist at the end. I was bummed when I realized that it was over. I know what you mean, when the credits started at the end I was like, the movie is finished, it can't be.
July 9, 200619 yr Member I loved this movie, had to go to three separate theratres to get a damn seat though. Where I went they even added 2 more time slots because there were so many ppl outside being told it was sold out and leaving. So they quickly on spot(I loved it) made a 11:30pm and 1am showing. I am thinking of going to see it again, something I have never done before. I cant wait for the third!
July 9, 200619 yr Member My friend who works at our biggest theater here in North East Pennsylvania and has worked there for about seven years said this is the only movie to sell out *every* show all weekend, including the first shows of the day, matinees, and midnight shows, since he's worked there. That's impressive!
July 9, 200619 yr Member I've been to two sell-out movies in my life. Jaws and ID4. ID4 was sold out for three whole days. Fortunately, my son and I got in before the first flood and then we went to Dallas and it was sold out everywhere. Finally got to see it there again and came home, still sold out here. I can hardly wait to see Pirates 2.
July 10, 200619 yr Member Pirates already took down the Jedis and Sith and now it could take down Spiderman! Just WOW!! Looks like it did, making $132 million!!! I saw this yesterday and it is a great summer popcorn flick. Not quite as good as the original, but still great. They set up the 3rd one perfectly.
July 10, 200619 yr Member WHAT! IT BEAT SPIDERMAN!?! GET OUT! I always thought Spidey 2 did not deserve that title, but I just did not expect this.
July 10, 200619 yr Member Not as good as the first, but still entertaining. Yay for beating records!!
July 10, 200619 yr Member I don't think it deserves the Biggest Opening ever. It was OK, but I don't see where all the mass appeal comes from. The first movie was WEAK!
