Janie has the BEST luck in BB history. I went to sleep bc the feeds were on for so long only to wake up and find out it was done like 5 minutes later. Im so happy she won the veto. I hope she's done with James and evicts him. CT need to fully expose him. I also really want her to form a girl alliance and get rid of CT next week. If she does this then I see her going to the end. Im so glad she's still in bc I was ready to cancel my feeds this week

James was really sulking last night. I guess both Janie and him went for the Howie doll, realized it was the wrong doll and went for the Marci doll. In the process, her NAIL scratched him by mistake. So he is stating that he was basically attacked by her. He is a wuss. Hence the house meeting. Whatever. I hope Boogie nominates CG and James is out of her. Sounds like Erika is going to vote that way.

Will stayed up all night with Janie. Probably to work her and to work her vote. If he wants to win, he needs to dump Boogie. I really wish that someone would nominate Boogie and get rid of him. Then I think Will has a better chance. My ultimate favorite F2 that I would love to see and be happy with the outcome is Janie and Will

Tishy, that's your dream final two! Haven't you been saying that since like week one?

I just don't see how Janelle can leave now. I don't want to jinx her, but I see final three in her future for the following reasons:

1. She's lost her partner. It's time to attack the other partners - Will/Boogie, Boogie/Erika, Dani/James, Dani/Erika.

2. I don't think CG, Boogie, Erika, or Dani can beat her in the season long trivia POV and the morphomatic that we know is coming up. So, I think she will win at least two more POV's.

3. She's the most hated at this point between Erika, Dani, Marcie...she's a good person to bring to the final two. That's three definite "NO" votes. I don't think any of the other six left have anyone so strong against them in the game. Not to mention, she might make an enemy out of George or CT since she might have to nominate one or two of them in the upcoming weeks. She might be responsible for ANOTHER person's eviction.

4. I think she'll win at least one more HOH. She doesn't have a lot of competition left, and if she won with 14, 11, and 9 people in the house, she can win against THESE 5, 4, 3, 2 etc. especially considering Boogie can't compete next, James is leaving, and Will throws them all. Erika and Dani would have to step it up big time.

The Golden Girl did it again. LOL! Let's just rename the show Big Brother: Janelle the All Star!

I kinda feel sorry for her, though. If she makes it to the end, she might have a bunch of bitter, jealous jury members that won't vote for her. No, scratch that, I think she could win this thing.

Yes it's been my dream two forever, but you know last year I hated her with a passion than after the show I read interviews with her and really liked her.

I see definte valid points in your arguments. I think it's safe to assume that James will be gone. Dani has even mentioned joining up with her. Whether Janie will go for it or not is another story. I don't think James will vote for her because he is a little !@#$%^&*], unless she is up against George. Dani has said on one of the feeds that the fact that she keeps winning everything that you have to respect that. I think Dani will vote in the end not on who she likes but on who plays the best game, if Dani isn't there herself. If that is true, I think Dani will vote for Janie if she is up against anyone other than Will

I can see Will actually making an effort to win HOH. He competed last year in Bravo's Battle of the Reality TV stars and did really good. Both he and Boogie did. He won several competitions or came in second. He certainly, if he put his mind to it, could win. I think if wants Erika out, which he should, he should win it and nominate her.

Janelle is in a great position now to dominate for the rest of the game and I think last night Will gave her back some of that fighting spirit. However, if it came down to it, he doesn't want to sit across from her, as much as I want to see it. He wants Booger across from him. Janie will just be the one that does all the dirty work. I hope Janie is in the position to take Will and not Booger at the end.

I think Will and Boogie want Janie and Dani at final four (or substitute Erika for Dani), so they'd fight each other, knocking one of them out of the game. Then Will or Boogie will try to win the final HOH and take the other to the end. That's their ideal situation.

King Reilly, that quote cracks me up. It's all in the way she says it. LOL!

People keep saying Janelle cant win bc so many people hate her but this is All Stars. I think more people will vote with their heads and not their hearts; they will go for the best player. I know Danielle said she will go for the person that had the best game. And no one hates her on the jury. I saw Marcellas on HC and he seemed pretty cool about Janelle and Jase. The house makes you ugly in the moment but when you're away from that, you start to become your true self again. Erika is the only one I can see not voting for Janelle. If Janelle makes it to final 2, I think everyone will have respected her game and the fact that she was able to win so much and make it to the end despite having nearly everyone against her. It all depends on who is there with her, but the chances of her winning the grand prize are definetly good

Wow, the girl has nine lives, unbelievable. I kept telling my friends and hubby not to give up an to be a little more optimistic(usually something I'm not), and this happens! Yay!

I watched HC and even Jase said that Janelle is painted as a worse liar and backstabber than she really is. He says that the person who has the power is hated and envied, bottom line.

I still don't know why CG nominated Howie. I don't get it.

I know! I havn't been home all weekend and when I checked updates last night I was shocked Howie was gone. I still wish Janie/Howie/Geroge would have formed a Jedi alliance to go against the LOD.

I havn't watched the feeds since last Thursday but now that Janelle has won veto I bet Mike will put George up and he will go. I could be completely wrong though.

    • 6-6   Hmmmm. Not my favorite of the week. However, it showed the strength of Jazmen's script writing against RC's breakdown. And he's good enough to rise above almost all of RC's tics. Though I guess the real question would be would I have caught 'Carl' author thing if I had not heard it mentioned here?

I felt the stories moved and while there were situations, they weren't the slapsticky I would expect from a RC breakdown. Well-done, Jazmen.   I guess I liked it on a second viewing. I'm just sorry that outside of Bill's subplot and Chelesa's love life C plot, it did not continue the majority of the stories that were going on this week. I still liked what I got so I guess it was worth it for potential flow interruption. Though I have to note that Eva and Kat have been dancing around each other all week and since it is a by-product of the SilkPress storyline, I love how the story can be used separate from the main part of that plot, which kept this episode with a thread attached to the main stories of this week.   It has been a minute since I saw a situation where a character has to get into someone's room and it seems plausible. Of course, Kat has to use her family name. That said...those scenes did not seem implausible at all, but that could be my industry experience showing. Meanwhile, Eva and Tomas continue to grow closer. But even I had to side-eye when he finally declared his interest for Kat. Because it seem like he had been working hard to give mixed signals to Eva and Kat. And NOW he's devoted to Kat? And I am smh at Kat thinking Eva is the one who ran Laura off the road now. Just le sigh. BUT keeps their rivalry going if she accuses Eva and it turns out to be false. Eva will be looking for the payback. And she will be justified.   I know I'm in the minority, but I enjoyed the Doug/Vanessa/Joey scenes. I've mentioned it before, but of all the B stories, it was the only one that was given enough room to grow and had a build to it. And you could cut the tension in that room with a knife. Everyone gave a good performance. You could see the distance between Doug and Vanessa. And for all that drama...there still was more to play with the other shoe dropping of Doug finding out Vanessa and Joey slept together. Just juicy. Even if the end goal apparently seems to be money laundering.   Lord...Bill wasn't really even out of the hospital for an episode without having to go back in again, was he? lol. Good to see his separate story progressing.    Same for Chelesa and her love life. I'm not sure if Naomi is right. That said, I do like the cliffhanger of Mystery Woman being Bill's doctor. Not to mention Kat with the evidence.
    • Speaking of 1986, YT recommended me some 1986 episodes revolving around Kyle/Reva/Maeve/Fletcher/Cain. What struck me most about the episodes is Zimmer seems at a loss. This does not feel like Reva at all. Was Kyle always such an a-hole? Why was the pairing so popular? He's so unlikeable, and Malloy's theatrical acting does not help matters. Jay Hammer is extremely charming as Fletcher--did they ever try Reva and Fletcher? The real star of these episodes is Leslie Denniston. When she tells Kyle she wants a divorce, it's a fantastic scene and Denniston is putting in some great work while the stuff around her is just weird and off-putting.
    • The Day Of The Jackal author Frederick Forsyth dies
    • 6-5   Case in point...lol.   Kat and Jacob can soooo have a spinoff. Just watching her being adamant that Eva is up to no-good while Jacob continues to try to play straight man to the craziness continued to be a hoot to watch. And the sad part is that Kat is on the right trail, just following the wrong clues. Or worse coming to the wrong conclusion. All because of her dislike for Eva.    Meanwhile, Eva continued to make inroads. I know I have said this since the start of the show, but I love how for the most part, the writers write the characters in gray. Not completely white. Not completely black. Most of the characters have moments where they resonate with the audience and then have moments where they are unlikeable. Like technically, Eva should be a pariah. I like that she knows this, understands this, and still shows remorse and still tries to work to get back the lost trust. It makes her so rootable. And played by a star is a bonus.

It is also what makes the rivalry between Eva and Kat so much fun to watch. Also played by a star. Neither one is perfect really, but they are oh so watchable and a nice by-product of the SilkPress storyline.    Same for Anita. I love the regal coldness TT has given to the role. The sense of ruthlessness beneath the beautiful face. And yeah it can be a turn-off. And it's been nice to see a softer side to her throughout this story of her and her bandmates. She is far from perfect. She...is also NOT a doormat so it was great to watch her versus her bandmates this episode.    I like the run-in between NuTed and Nicole. I'm getting used to NuTed. And Nicole's presence has been a little too light for my liking. I can only assume that is to build to the next Nicole vs Silk Press Sheila confrontation which rumor has it will be another good one.    Speaking of which...LAURA IS OUT OF THE HOSPITAL!!!! Praise it be!!! And I thought it was so adorable that Nicole, Kat, and Mona were on hand to welcome her back. I liked that Laura has an open mind toward Eva (unlike her feelings toward SilkPress). Another layer to add to the Eva vs Kat rivalry.
    • Victoria Principal clearly stacked her Dallas coins real good. In the grand scheme of things, she was smart to walk away from Dallas when she did.
    • When Robert Calhoun became EP I thought GL was finally hitting its stride after some pretty rough years. Unfortunately the ratings during Robert Calhoun's run did not reflect the quality of the show.
    • There was a five week break between the last Friday episode and the Thursday episodes which were the final four episodes. I have a feeling the final four episodes were refilmed to wrap up the storylines.
    • Yes, I forgot there was a gap between his exit from GL and his start at ATWT. This almost makes me want to cry. He really turned ATWT around (and good for them). It would have been great if someone had done the same for GL. Can't imagine who. The Dobsons were doing Santa Barbara at this point. I mainly blame Kobe. She may not have been the worst EP they ever had, but she almost totally destroyed the Bauers and decimated much of the rest of the cast, sometimes for egotistical reasons. That was a huge mistake and made it that much harder for the show to recover.
    • Douglas Marland began at As the World Turns in September 1985 but it took about a year for his run to show growth in the ratings. 1986 As the World Turns becomes CBS's #2 daytime drama after Y&R.
