I think Tristan was/is intended to be her consolation prize. But the guy comes off like Doogie Howser playing dress-up, and I've seen KT with men who aren't Jason before lol. That story only ends one way. And I don't get the sense that the show is very invested in her atm either. FV's interests shift fast unless you're one of his longtime friends (and even then). KT is not.
I knew Courtney was toast when they put her with Jax lol. The show treated him like a sad afterthought in that period in particular, openly told the audience he was resorting to hookers for sex, and they were both relegated to B or C-story. They were just running out ALW's contract at that point, and the Nikolas affair in '05 seemed designed to run down both her and TC's characters when Guza had clearly ceased to have much use for either (while aiming for Sonny and Emily lol). On paper there was a potentially scandalous and interesting element to the concept, but Nik and Courtney were both written as unsympathetic as possible the whole year. It was a Guza hit job, but not as entertaining as it could've been.
