I love love love to cook, but I have realized I have been eating a lot more fast food because I am getting Lazy after work I'm to tired after work to even pick up a pan.

So what places have you bobbin and weaving through rush hour traffic to give u your fast food fix?

I have 3 places I can't resist and eat every week:

Popeyes Chicken-

I can go through an 18 pc of spicy chicken so fast it's crazy!!! I love their chicken!!!

Carl's Jr/The Green Burrito-

Buca Di Beppo-

Tell me about it! I waste so much money at that place (and I'm a college student, so I'm chronically poor as it is). Actually, I just went there this afternoon and wasted $4 getting an iced caramel machiato. I also looooooooved the white chocolate mochas during the winter, and caramel fraps are pretty much perfect for any occasion.

I love Canadian Taco Bell!

American Taco Bell sucks ass! Side dishes: another hard shell taco, or nasty nachos with that nasty hot cheese from a pump you would typically find in your local 7-Eleven. And they have no fries! No Fries Supreme! It's a crime!

Wendys is great. But if you don't eat the fries right away (ie, takeout) they start to taste bad really quickly.

Burger King is a favourite. I'm typically alone in this statement (and it's showing as BK in Canada seems to be going the way of K-Mart and Eatons). I like the charbroiled taste. It's the closest any fast food place has to something that tastes like it came off a grill! Yummy!

KFC! Spicy Big Crunch, megasized. I walk in, and they know my order. It's so sad

and Subway. 6-inch turkey, no cheese, lettuice, and southwest sause! MMM.

I used to love Harveys. But I can't eat them anymore. For 3 years, it was practically the only thing on my college campus. I feel ill thinking about another one of their burgers, I'm that O.D.ed on them.

Now add all those ingredients except real grated cheese instead of cheese sauce inside a large bag of spicy nacho doritos now we are talkin really yummy.

On fries from Taco Bell? That is really gross and scary at the same time. Taco Bell is horrid!!

I've noticed that Panda Express has that same crack effect that starbucks does and I don't understand!!! the food is horrible yet lines are all outside wrap around the freakin place. I don't get it!!

    • Well, I am glad to know that & for it to make sense, so thanks for the info &  the perspective, also. At the end of AMC 1.0, I thought the new young talent was really quite good, but I missed Eden & NuBianca just ... well, I wasn't 100% sold on her & Bianca was so important to me. But then, Tad & Dixie were also important & yep, there's another problem, for me I mean. I'm not your typical AMC fan but I hung in there anyway. I know what you mean because it wasn't as good as it once had been but it was still Agnes's show in Pine Valley. Some of that is a bittersweet nostalgic clinging to the past, I guess. By that time I'd been through so many show cancellations. AW, Santa Barbara, PC, The City, GL, ATWT.

Betsy Snyder, when she was at DAYS was part of the WGA winning writing team before she died, tragically far too young.
    • Yep Edmund and Tad went under cover to infiltrate the... Willow Lake (I think?) old folks community scandal that was exploiting Phoebe, etc.  (Which at one point led to Edmund rescuing Brooke from quicksand--common around Pine Valley I guess

) EDIT maybe I'm wrong.  I found the quicksand scene

But for the story all I can find is Edmund going undercover as the gigolo "preying" on older women, Eduardo (no one would recognize him with that disguise and name ) so the drag must have been.. a different story?
    • But then he HATES the original Heather Webber (Cher's half sister played her, right?) and we know what happened when Robin would step into the role a year after this.  He does seem pretty spot on about actors who show promise otherwise.  It's interesting he knocks OLTL early on (though I loved all the recently released episodes from this era we got) but does give a lot of credit to the actress playing Cathy despite earlier complaining about her story.  And over all, while quite negative, his various pros and cons on the shows sounds about right with what I know of the shows at this time. This was a July dated issue of the magazine but and I know they date mags a month or two in advance--obviously when he wrote this he didn't know Lovers and Friends was gonna go off the air (in May I think).
    • You know one of the soap outlets posed that question just last week: Who do you want Trina with Spencer or Kai? And, of course, the picture of Spencer was NAC. I said, well, a lot. I chose Kai. I said that Spencer had been an entitled brat & that some people valued him over her, when I valued her above all others. I guess we'll see.
    • You're right. The only thing I can think of is if GH finally decides to bring back Spencer.
    • Sharon Rose Gabet told me on Facebook that she calls this "Baby Raven".
    • I imagine the storyline would now segue into Laura's accident. But I hope they manage to keep Leslie around though. I really don't want her to be written out, or get the DOOL treatment where she just pops up every so often to cause some short term trouble; the character and the actor were such a find.
