Ooooo yes, yes, yes! This is more to my liking.
It would truly be inspiring if in Smitty's pursuit of finishing up the story about the Impaler, he gets dropped into the Lynette storyline and we find out what really happened with her. And watching him connect the dots with first Jacob and then Naomi and June got me excited. In my wildest dreams, him getting like a dog with a bone with Lynette leads him into the Hayley poisoning Bill storyline and we get a soapy near-miss.
And sweet Baby Jesus!!! So it appears that it's finally truly happening with Bill starting to increasingly show the effects of Hayley's poisoning. I thought 7-22 was good with its signs, but seeing Bill having it in public and covering. At last. Let's get this part of the story on the road.
And speaking of finally happening...not me bringing back up and discussing Andre's past and that gift is dropped off with Dani's name on it. And Andre actually looking worried. It feels like they are making a perfect storm in the Andre/Dani/Bill storyline and I'm all the way here for it. Snatch that A story status all the way. Cuz there we are with a Dani/Bill scene.
I also like how many side-stories were juggled through all of that. The aforementioned Dani/Bill scene. The Impaler storyline through Jacob. Randy and Mona. And is Vernon about to get a new storyline?
