Yes, this is what I was referring to.

Sometimes people become better friends and rediscovering things they liked about one another once a marriage ends. Glad to see that happened to both Cady and Jon.

Finally watched Wed-Fri.

Good episodes and really looking forward to the end of the plasma story.

So, we finally got a tiny glimpse of the clinic.

On Wednesday's episode, I don't know what was going on with Nicole's face. On Thursday the sponsor bumper was Botox Cosmetic and thought, ooooooooh! D.D. is so beautiful. She doesn't need any of that, IMO.

I chuckled at the fact Naomi goes into the stairwell to talk privately with Jacob on the phone, but yet talks out in the open about private stuff with Ashley.

Mona, I agree with the consensus. Love seeing her, but the preaching to needs to stop, especially since she's hot for Randy.

So Izaiah served macaroni & cheese alone on a plate with no protein and no greens??

Ok, thank you! I peeped that too. Also, that macaroni had no crust. That crispy top is key, otherwise it is giving out of the box energy.

I will agree serving m&c by itself is not the norm, but he made truffle m&c and I've had it with and without a crust and it was good regardless.

After all these months I have to say Tracey’s impact on the show has been detrimental.

I’ve downgraded the show to background noise and I FF through everything Joey and Vanessa. Sometimes I forget since I am so not paying attention and that’s when I catch things like Joey being this show’s Superman (gag me).

If anything the show is teaching me a lot on how NOT to write for a soap (or any medium for that matter).

1. Don’t write about topics you know nothing about and you’re not willing to research (ie Plasma theft).

2. Don’t come up with stories that you don’t know where to place and have no clear, distinctive settings for. (ie Jacob being confined to a brick wall for months was ridiculous but at the same time where else should he have been? There’s no definite answer).

3. Show don’t tell. When Naomi blurted out to Ashley that the bad guy was Lia it was so anticlimactic. Because we hadn’t seen any glimpse of Lia in that episode. It would have been a thousand times more effective if Lia was there, near the nursing station, and the scene would go like this: “Come on Naomi, tell me! Who is it?”. Naomi looking into Lia’s direction. Ashley turning around. Ashley being petrified at realizing it was Lia all along.

   This is a silly example but you get what I mean: let the audience put 2+2 together.

I guess one could go on and on for hours, but for now I’ll keep ‘watching’ just in case it gets better.

Random questions about the infamous Plasma storyline:

• is it me or literally nobody has mentioned “The Impaler” in weeks? Nobody has wondered about his/her identity. Everything has stopped at Lia.

• Is Lia a lesbian? How did Lynette scam her?

They did mention the Impaler a few days ago.

Oh absolutely! I was stating more a personal preference. If I make it at home, I like a nice crispy crust on top, especially if it is made in a casserole. Like if it was stovetop Mac and cheese, then fine.

It was meh. Especially for the little bits of intrigue.

I'm never going to be here for Cartoon Leslie. Sorry, not sorry. I can't believe someone thinks it's cute that her daughter's boyfriend is cooking dinner, and every other sentence is a punchline/quip/shade. Knowing how Eva feels about him, a little...okay a lot...of common sense goes a long way. I did like the tidbit about Darlene, keeping the dislike between her and SilkPress as well as potential conflict between Eva and Izaiah alive. Good since they gave their first ILYs this episode. So I hope that was foreshadowing that will be the next leg of their storyline.

I have such mixed feelings about the Madison lawsuit. I liked the Bill/Naomi team-up. And I liked Chels ran to them to decide what she should do in light of the video. I found the video thing highly realistic since in today's culture...there can't be any kind of violent action without someone recording. And it's also realistic that Kat would be worried for the ChelesaKat brand. So I don't mind this beat played. But for all the great scenes in this episode with the Hamiltons...how can I truly get invested if the Madison lawsuit is going to be off-screen? In fact, it all just feels off-screen.

Also intrigued by Tomas and Smitty comparing notes on Lynette. Keeping Lynette's presence and the ticking timebomb of Hayley being exposed alive is definitely the right move. And keeps up suspense.

Well, I can't say that they aren't playing the beats of Nicole's feelings for Ted returning. I don't like it at all. But I respect that they are playing it. And I liked the Vanessa/Nicole scene simply because Vanessa felt like VANESSA there for a second and not a whiny girl. Did I mention I'm happy to see Nicole? But if they are going this route...I wonder where this places Carlton and especially Kial.
