I don't understand... why should I spend money when all the episodes are uploaded on YT?

OK, the website got me to continue with Season 1 B&B. lol

Things get much juicier quite quickly. Thankfully, Judith Baldwin is gone. Stephanie is just SO strikingly complex, cruel, and often scary. Flannery is acting the hell out of every scene, it's scary.

Sadly, so much of the early episodes casting really hinders the show.

They're not all on YouTube, that's the thing. Season 9, some of 10, 11 and 12 are not on YouTube. Can't speak for the most recent seasons as I'm not interested in modern B&B.

This is true of many shows. It gives people options. If you want to watch it commercial free, then the app is a good choice. If you don't want to pay, you can still watch it free. It's something for everyone.

The fact that the 1996/1997 episodes (don’t know which seasons offhand) are the ones pulled from YT with no background music is enough to just be ok with all that’s already on YT or in the vault via videoland.

Hopefully they will fix those background music issues by the time I reach those episodes. Has anyone checked any fashion show episodes to see how they handled the music copyright dilemma? Or even the Rotterdam concert episodes?

According to the website, the thirty-eighth season is dropping five episodes every Monday.

They also advertise them as being "director's cut extended episodes", but they're just the episodes that aired to TV - no extended or bonus material included in the episodes.

The app has "director's cut" of episodes with scenes I haven't seen. Must be the "bonus" scenes we in the US wouldn't normally see

They have scenes that weren't in the broadcast episodes, cause they're longer in length. I'm watching one now with scenes that the same episode on YT doesn't have

Not for season 38 though, for which they're advertising extended episodes.

The Admin (and the moderator „Lindsey“ few days ago) noticed the list with missing / corrupt / false episodes and they are working on it! )

This is very comforting. It’s rare to see a company respond positively to feedback and address it like this. Hopefully someone mentioned the background music issue — some episodes (at least in season one) have the background music so loud that you literally cannot hear what the actors are saying. I had to rewatch a few episodes on Tubi (the very same episodes are fine on Tubi) because when Eric and Stephanie were having an important discussion about their marriage, Stephanie in particular was impossible to hear. Even the subtitles didn’t make an attempt haha.

I’ll happily subscribe to this app forever as long as I can enjoy the episodes without having to guess what they are saying.

This is such a great and thoughtful response by their team. They're really just doing a bang-up job with every aspect of this. I really hope other soaps follow since having a small income stream on your archives is always better than none.
