Amanda Setton refuses to play BLQ, and they've allowed her to get away with it.

The result is that the character is ruined. She's not what Brook Lynn should be. Why Frank permits actors to get away with this is insane.

It's a pretty flimsy way to get Jason off the canvas especially since Jason said how committed he was to Danny. I guess it beats shipping him off in a coma. I really don't find any of this 5 poppies, Callum, Brennan, Britt, Sidwell tale to be very interesting at all. The show seems to keep adding characters, twists, and connecting people together, but there's no real movement. I feel like they started the Brennan story 10 years ago lol.

As far as Setton, we've been complaining about it for years and nothing has changed. She has this job and those clothes until Frank leaves. Sadly, I think GH could easily come up with small compromises to make BLQ look more in character while still being in line with Amanda's beliefs. They choose not to.

At the very least, GH's writers just should avoid writing scenes for BLQ/Chase that involve intimacy or various states of undress. Stop giving us "I Married an Inuit" and pretending like that is totally normal for their show and that couple.

Exactly. You could re-block the scene to make it look like they were just talking in their bedroom. No reason to pretend some sexy times were about to happen for what the two were talking about anyway. I have no idea what Amanda is like in real life of course, but I don't think she'd be against a few helpful notes. And I honestly have no idea how she survives LA in summer with that wardrobe when she's off work lol.

Having a hot shirtless Chase in bed while his wife is totally dressed remains a head scratcher. I'd be much less dressed if it were me in bed with Chase. Just sayin😂

Who cares about BLQ of what/how she dresses, as long as she's stays spicy & remains an emotional wreck like a good Quartermaine, I'm good. Now as far the hot shirtless Chase in bed, we could dedicate the entire episode for that without the singing and then on the next episode Michael can do the same. 😁

It's so OTT now. If BLQ had any kind of personality other than trad wife, I'd let it slide. But she is such a bore and always wears 10 layers of clothes, even in bed with her husband.

Count me in as someone else who doesn't get this overwrought goodbye to Jason because he and Britt need to get out of town. I can't believe I want Guza back but at least he kept my interest most of the time. GH is still more entertaining than any other show on the air, but it's losing some steam for me.

Liz and Ric still have their chemistry. I'll take what I can get with those two.

Surprised Nathan and Lulu hooked up already. They've really pushed past the beats with those two. But then again, he doesn't come off like he gives a single damn about Maxie.

Amazing with the current chemistry between Liz and Ric. Now it's time for GH to put him on contract and push Liz to the front burner.

Now for Nathan and Lulu, they really have HOT chemistry and enjoying the mixed up with Maxie. If Emme Rylan were still in the role of Lulu, she would not have chemistry (no offense to the actress) with Nathan but for some reason Alexa Havins is a good match up.

Today's shirtless hunk is Nathan, which of course is great... but I wish we could see Nathan/Lulu actually hooking up vs. assuming they had sex each time he carries her upstairs. Seeing none of the kissing/passion takes away from wanting to root for this new couple.

The Jason stuff does feel like originally he didn't know if/when he'd come back... but now that we know it's only a couple months, it doesn't seem as big of a deal to me. Like the Carly scene was amazing and sad... and having Danny figure out where he's going to live doesn't seem to matter much anymore. Many kids have stayed with a grandparent for a month or two over summer or whatever, not a biggie if he know he's coming back now.
