Random thought but I think it’s a shame they named a random character Daphne. The way they pronounce it, it sounds a lot like Stephanie IMO and it would have been a great name to give to one of Stephanie’s great-grandchildren, in a portmanteau, ‘Bridget’-kinda way.

I like that we have multiple stories happening as opposed to one storyline being featured ad nauseum.

I like Will/Electra/RJ/Dylan. I think it's a good thing to feature the next generation. I wish they would somehow integrate Deke more with them but I guess that can happen in time.

Deke, Hope and Steffy talking about their parents love lives is ridiculous. Steffy comes off like a controlling shrew and Hope & Deke need to get their own lives.

Ridge finally accepting his role in Eric's feeling of being put out to pasture is growth for Ridge. But, will it last???

I will say those scenes with Sheila/Deacon/Taylor were absolutely cringe worthy.

Daphne had one too a couple weeks ago....she said it like three times....what was it again? It wasn't "It's not right," but something along those lines similar to Ivy's catchphrase. Daphne was talking bout Ivy manipulations.

B&B really blew it with Eric being Logan's lead designer. It would've been so much better if Logan had a fashion show and then at the end, Eric comes out to reveal himself. Ridge and Brooke look on in shock. Then after that, they could've gone this whole health scare route. Now it looks like Katie is going to get trashed, based on the previews.

Same. I find them highly enjoyable. And a next generation that works is overdue. And they work. I wish more soaps had one.

Oh, I also forgot to mention I love the updated scenic direction at Will's beach house. It looks way better than it did before.

Yay! We made it back around to Taylor/Deacon/Sheila! At last!

But first...something trivial...why get rid of the stubble, Deke? Le sigh.

But I enjoy that so far this week Taylor/Deacon/Sheila has been the focus. And it feels like there's movement going on. Deacon/Taylor growing closer. Deacon having sex with Sheila, but thinking of Taylor. Sheila and misdirection on Taylor. More, please. And YES...as much as I don't like the 'kids' sitting around talking about their parents' love lives...Steffy was not at all wrong. Hope and Deke are playing with fire.

So was that Will/Dylan kiss real? Cuz she's coming across like a vixen now. And I kept watching their scenes and thought about how what Ivy did is causing all this drama.

Bradley has truly forgotten that Deke is gay. What happened to this great gay pairing? It was all hype once again.

This is what I was expecting as well. I have no idea why Bradley botched this promising story. It was obvious how it was going to unfold, yet instead we got this nonsense.

Have you been living under a rock for the last 30 years? 😄 This is what Brad Bell does. He takes a perfectly good story and ruins it beyond repair through his complete lack of writing talent.
