I still can't believe Jack is on every day, I sure as heck can't tell.

Y&R is balanced, but is it because they have a smaller cast? Even with their cast, they appear to understand the point of rotating characters and stories.

I like the balance but wish Neil and Dru were on more. Dont like their numbers at all. And what happened to Devon? Its like he disappeared. Too much Gloria for me. Wish she were limited

The show is fairly balanced. One thing that Y&R used to do that I really miss is they'd have characters who hadn't been onscreen yet show up somewhere toward the middle of the episode. You could never just watch the first couple sets of scenes and know who was going to be on that day- they almost always threw another story in there late in the game. I think if they went back to doing that some, the show would be even more balanced than it already is. As for Dru & Neil, they've been on a lot more frequently lately so I don't mind seeing them low. From what I've read & heard, they have a BIG sweeps coming.

Yeah evidently it wasn't a very long vacation..... and yeah I think Devon will be written out..... he has hardly been on the last two months. Good because the character is boring and serves no purpose anymore.

I agree!! Y&R has been pimping the Jack/Gloria feud far too much!! All she does is bad mouth Jack and Ashley! That cream should of burned the little brain Gloria has!

I'm liking this list, though I hope Dru and Neil do climb more in airtime. And I've been questioning Y&R's motives when it comes to Will Bardwell....I swear it seemed like Ashley and Will were getting far too chummy in that broken elevator...a possible Ashley/Will pairing?? I would be up for it!! I think Ted Shackleford and Eileen Davidson have good chemistry together! I can sooo see him getting between her and Paul.

getting between Ashle and Paul? Are they even a couple? LOL...I dont even think Y&R knows. One minute it looks like they're dating and the next it looks like they are just friends. She doesnt even seem that much into him. Yes I also see chemistry with Will and she has more sparks with him. I like Paul but he seems like dead weight in Ashley's orbit

I don't really like Paul or Ashley but I will admit that she has chemistry with Will Bardwell. They should keep him up the show and pair him up with Ashley or maybe Jill.

I don't think Darcy Rose Byrnes or Jerry Douglas are recurring. And I noticed Kate Linder listed with the contract characters so I think she is back on contract.

Yeah, this show is pretty balanced compared with a lot of soaps, but I would like to see more of Nicholas Newman. Like everyday! By the way, I don't like Ashley at all either. Maybe they could cut out her character altogether.
