I am still pissed Marlena's apartment is called a "penthouse". It's insulting. Especially when Sami lived there for some time when she was first with Rafe during that whole storyline.

I'm pretty sure they call it a townhouse, which also doesn't make any sense. It's a condo.

Could've sworn for some time it was a penthouse still. Either way, there isn't anything "housey" about it. It's a shïtbox.

Yeah I think they call it a townhouse too.

@Liberty City I think at first the show did call it a penthouse, but gave up the entire silliness of that more recently lol.

With the smaller apartments, I wish they'd design them so we just see a main living area with the front door, and there could be a cutout that seems to go into a kitchen (maybe we see a single counter, or backsplash or something) rather than having the all-along-one-wall kitchens that we tend to get. It makes it look like everyone lives in an efficiency apartment... which is fine for a normal person but not a CEO or chief-of-staff or whatever!

OK. Glad I wasn't losing my mind, but I'm also glad they ditched the use of the word penthouse, because that was NOT a penthouse.

It's not even anything more than a living room lol. With the world's longest hallway. If they had a door or something that appeared to lead to another room or kitchen it might feel bigger, but all you have is a literal hallway that everyone walks out of one way. No one is ever even entering from the left side. Always the right lol.

And we saw a glimpse of the hallway from Marlena's bedroom when she was possessed and that hallway looked narrow as frick, too.
