As far as I'm concerned, my fanfiction of Dimitri and Andrew having had a fling when Dimitri was in the ISA, and Andrew being the true love of Dimitri's life, really happened 😂😂😂

And I understand what everyone's been saying about Brady too, but I like the drama of it all.

Actually, I get Brady's attitude towards Marlena: His daughter is a psycho, shot someone, and Marlena kept quiet instead of doing what Brady had the guts to do and lock Rachel up for treatment. (Too bad, for certain reasons, it'll likely be a waste, but his intent is the correct one!)

Today was a slow one. Not bad, but practically nothing happened.

But poor dumb Tate lol

I still don't see where they're going with Tate getting bad grades and possibly flunking out of Salem U, and why he's worried that Holly would have a problem with it. I think they deserve a better story than this. Maybe something better will happen if Tate does end up getting kicked out of school. But I'm curious if this is going to be tied to whatever Sophia and Rachel may or may not end up doing.

And please Rachel, you're the worst child ever 😂😂

But I did like seeing Steve on the case as to who sent Stephanie the letter. Despite being so long in the tooth lol, he does do a better job at investigating than Alex does, and today was no different. He does a better job than Cat too.

Speaking of Cat, now that EJ knows that she's the one who read Wuthering Heights to him when he was recovering, I'm interested in seeing what happens now, especially when the time comes that he finds out about Cat and Rafe trying to take him down. But I admit, it all did seem a little low stakes though, and I thought that EJ's reaction to everything came off as forced, especially when he was going on and on about his and Cat's "connection". If anything, I hope he's playing Cat just as much as she's playing him.

The cliffhanger with Stephanie was ok too, but I think this storyline would be better if Jeremy, and his growing feud with Alex had a bigger part in it. Not only would it give Jeremy more to do, but it could also possibly lead to some conflict between Stephanie and Alex.

The best part of Wednesday’s episode was easily the scenes between Marlena and Leo. There’s such a chemistry between Dee and Greg.

The rest was blah, as usual. Dumb stuff with Tate and Sofia. Anyone with vision knows she’s faking.

On to Thursday. A complete waste of 36 minutes. Luckily I got paperwork done during this mess. Catatonic Sofia talks to Rachel and plays cards with her and not one staff member ever checks in on Rachel or wonders where the catatonic girl is? Ridiculous.

Cat & EJ? Very boring. Come on Paula & Jeanne. I’ve been waiting for something, anything to give hope that Days will get better. So far, nothing. I’ve said it before. They write scenes. They don’t write a cohesive show.

I have almost no use for Leo or Marlena/Leo's friendship, but yesterday's scenes were sweet. You can tell how much GR/DH like working together.

Finally, some follow-up with Chad!

Even though it's kinda weird that he's supposedly been unconscious this whole time and Tony and Kristen couldn't wake him up until now. But I liked that they were able to comfort him over the fact that he's missing the custody hearing. I also liked how those scenes of Chad were juxtaposed against those scenes of Thomas with Jack and Jennifer at the Horton house and in court. Cary Christopher and Matthew Ashford work pretty well together too. They're really believable as grandfather and grandson. And I still hope that, at some point, we get a full on custody battle between Chad and Jack/Jennifer, especially considering the anti-Dimera attitude that Jennifer had at the end of today.

And while Jennifer was douchy with Cat again lol she did bring up a lot of good points. Her actions and words still make sense to me, in the context of this storyline. As for Cat, I have no problem with her drugging EJ, but the fact that she had to run it past Andrew makes me really, really wish he was in Salem, running this whole operation to take down EJ. It really is crazy that Days began an ISA-related storyline right after an ISA agent, who's a legacy character that fans like and want to see, left the canvas. And considering one of the spoilers that we've gotten, Andrew being onscreen would add another interesting dynamic to this storyline that I know I'd love to see 😊😊

But I'm looking forward to seeing the aftermath of Cat drugging EJ play out next week.

And yeah, they're definitely going there with Gabi and Theo. Their scenes today really did feel like a chem test. Theo learning about Gabi's past with EJ and what EJ did to Rafe and Jada could also play into this storyline as well. I still think he has more chemistry with Ari though. And with Ari supposed to be getting an internship at Dimera, hopefully we'll get a triangle with them or a triangle with Theo/Gabi/Philip at some point. I'm looking forward to seeing it. It could have so many ripple effects across the canvas, especially since Theo knows Gabi's secret.

Btw, they really seem to be making trivia night at the Pub an important thing 😂😂

I kind of like the idea of pub events, etc. becoming a regular occurrence. It's a natural part of normal local life. Reminds me of something out of Eastenders, or when GH used to regularly give the hospital characters Girls Night Out, karaoke night, etc. in the 2000s. (Something they should still do)

I like the idea of the trivia night as a gathering spot for folks, but I can't deal with long-ass scenes of Roman on the microphone.

The idea of trivia night is fine and fun, but I agree with @AbcNbc247 . The show is acting like trivia night is this amazing cutting-edge game Roman just invented lol. The way it was introduced was so clunky with Roman and his microphone and asking everyone if they liked trivia night. Like, Roman, chill. Most bars have trivia night-you don't need the town's permission to hold your own event at your own restaurant.

I know. JT's Roman as a game show host is a choice. Mumbles aside, the setup is incredibly awkward. I feel like the show is taking multiple scenes to explain a very simple concept.
