Or poisoned by Hayley.

Bill mentioning Hayley's teas and Tomas mentioning he like espresso might be breadcrumbs. Picture it: Hayley poisons the wrong cup or Tomas grabs the wrong cup. Later on, Kat gets theatrical in bed again, Tomas has a fatal heart attack and Kat blames herself. But let me stop writing.

If it's written well they could get at least another year out of Hayley.

The poisoning plot could go awry, she could be blackmailed by someone, she could blackmail Bill etc etc

Not quite sure while the poison is still having no effect? And if Bill almost dies, what is her cover story?

I wonder if the storytelling style is disenchanting some viewers eg characters not appearing for a week or so and their stories losing momentum.

I keep saying Hayley should have been ear hustling everytime Bill dismissed her when someone came over. She should know most of the Duprees secrets and use that as leverage when she's caught. If she goes down then so does Martin for muder and everyone for covering it up

She needs to hire a ghostwriter and start writing a tell all about the Duprees asap.

  • Bradley is an ass-grabber? Well, that is a new fact we did not know about! But happy to see Samantha making some kind of an effort to not be an annoying brat.

  • The country club is popping! I did not think it would be that filled on the holiday, but it is beautiful to see.

  • Joey using Uptown as his dinner spot with Vanessa? Why do I feel like he fully paid off the owner to ensure it was only him and Vanessa?

  • Love seeing Ashley and Jan cooking together. Gives me memories of cooking with my mother.

  • Dani is giving "Evil Queen" in her outfit today, and her death glare at Andre for questioning if she knew how to cook proves that point even more.

  • It is cute seeing Eva and Ted connecting and getting to know each other. So precious.

  • I love how organised Mona is about her Black Friday shopping. That would be me if I did shop on Black Friday.

  • Not the con artist child bride already trying to stake a claim on her next prey once her husband is dead. Hilarious.

  • So precious seeing the Richardson Smiths share what they are grateful for, and I love seeing June welcomed into that.

  • That poor bird did not stand a chance with Dani cooking. It truly did not. She should stick to simpler recipes.

  • Dana you cannot even let one day go by without resting on your way. Let it go, Elsa. Let it go.

  • Vanessa is going to make Joey open a restaurant and then ensure it fails... right? That is where her head is going right now. I am calling it.

  • I love that everyone pays attention to Vernon's speech at the country club on Thanksgiving. It shows how revered he is. And what a powerful speech it is. Wow. It moved me.

Notes:

  • Much like yesterday's brilliant work of Sara A. Bibel and Cheryl L. Davis, Zimmerman and Tate are paired exceptionally well as breakdown and scriptwriter, respectively. They are both underrated.

  • Hello Cascade, and welcome to the sponsorship family! However, I do not care... RINSE BEFORE PUTTING IN THE DISHWASHER!

  • Did we use the term "spatchcocked" on television? I love it.

  • It is awesome that Dani's kitchen appears to be fully functioning; we do not have that on the other soaps like this. It is amazing.

What an excellent episode. The ending really choked me up. It reminded me of Guiding Light's holiday traditions.

I hope they keep it up.
