The 2024-2025 television season officially came to a close during the week of September 15-19, 2025.

Despite airing reruns all summer, “The Price is Right” remained on top across daytime broadcast, leading the way in viewers and the key sales demographics used to sell ads.

The first half-hour of “The Price is Right” (3.458 million) and the second half-hour of “Let’s Make a Deal” (2.305 million) marked the largest week-to-week gains across daytime broadcast, up +192,000 and +182,000, respectively.

For the week, “Beyond the Gates” averaged 1.604 million viewers, marking the show’s largest audience in 24 weeks (since the week of March 31-April 4, 2025) and its fifth most-watched week overall since premiering on CBS in late February 2025.

The soap opera was up +0.04 from its week ago series low performance among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.14 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.30 rating vs. 0.26 rating), even while experiencing a preemption on Tuesday, September 16. Compared to the same week last year when the network aired original episodes of “The Talk,” “Beyond the Gates” was up +0.03 among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.15 rating) and up +0.04 among Women 25-54 (0.30 rating vs. 0.26 rating), and saw significant year-over-year growth among Total Viewers, up +427,000 (1.604 million vs. 1.177 million).

Note: Last week’s report (week of September 8-12, 2025) incorrectly labeled the Women 18-49 rating for “Beyond the Gates” as a 0.16, tying the show’s series low in the demo. The rating was actually 0.14 and set a new low.

Up slightly among viewers week-to-week, “The View” (2.299 million) saw the largest year-over-year gains across daytime broadcast in the demos, up +0.04 among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating vs. 0.18 rating) and up +0.06 among Women 25-54 (0.34 rating vs. 0.28 rating).

“The Bold and the Beautiful” gained +78,000 viewers week-to-week (2.545 million vs. 2.467 million), and marked the largest week-to-week gain across daytime broadcast among Women 18-49, up +0.04 (0.22 rating vs. 0.18 rating) and Women 25-54, up +0.05 (0.39 rating vs. 0.34 rating). The half-hour show was in a three-way tie for third place among Women 18-49 (0.22 rating), alongside “The Young and the Restless” and “The View.”

Speaking of “The Young and the Restless,” the long-running soap opera was up +0.02 week-to-week among Women 18-49 (0.22 vs. 0.20 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.41 rating vs. 0.39 rating). That said, the series was down -57,000 viewers week-to-week and -38,000 year-over-year.

Virtually flat week-to-week and year-over-year among Women 18-49 (0.18 rating vs. 0.19 rating) and Women 25-54 (0.30 rating vs. 0.31 rating / 0.30 rating vs. 0.32 rating), “General Hospital” was down -97,000 viewers week-to-week (1.903 million vs. 2.000 million), but gained +85,000 year-over-year (1.903 million vs. 1.818 million).
