I'd say Brady's endgame should be Chloe. Though admittedly, Chloe and Kyle Lowder's Brady is my preferred choice.

I hate how it seems like Brady is the eldest of the John/Marlena/Roman kids.

I agree with Chloe, but she could always be Phillip's endgame so I do consider that.

I think all John/Marlena/Roman's kids seem the same age lol-except Paul- who does seem younger.

I mean he should be chronologically, but he was paired with younger guys so I always thought he was more Will's age than Belle/Brady's.  Which Will was born a year or so after Belle so who knows?

I thought Paul was conceived around '94-95 when John returned to the priesthood? I seem to remember Paul's mother having a flashback where they showed John praying while at St. Luke's and they used footage from around that era.

So he's around Will's age but also technically older than EJ but we're not gonna talk about EJ because present-day EJ and present-day Kristen look like they're the same age, as does Brady...

I will never understand aging up EJ past literally every other character born onscreen before him.

Yes, you are right.  I got the Brady, Belle, Paul order confused.  Paul was conceived post-Maison Blanche, but Tori found out she was pregnant while John was a priest.

So John got Isabella, Marlena, Tori, and Kristen in around 4 years lol.

I’m torn about who his endgame should be; either Chloe or Theresa.

Which is why I think they should’ve brought Theresa back instead of Gwen. There’s more story for her anyway.

I think Brady needs a brand new love interest that doesn't have the baggage of all of his previous love interests and has a clean slate; he would benefit greatly from that and he wouldn't have to recycle the same old boring love interest. Besides, I'd rather have Chloe be with Philip anyway.

I also don't really want Brady and Theresa together either especially since she basically chose money over love and for Brady to go back to her after everything she did to him recently would make him a lot stupider than he already is. Besides that pairing has long since sailed anyway. What is there to revisit? They're about as played out as Kristen/Brady. And these writers have done such a massive hatchet job of Theresa that I really can't see her be a regular character on this show ever again. I won't mind her popping in for occasional visits to see Tate and/or her grandson but that's basically it.

If Ken Corday is really serious about Brady being the next gen version of John then he needs to move forward not backward and he needs to finally grow up and be a man. And that includes getting him a woman who doesn't have history with him and doesn't have criminal tendencies or any type of emotional baggage. If that means bringing on a brand new woman in town for him, so be it.

That could work. I wonder what soap actress Days would hire 😂

And we did see a little bit of growth in his last few scenes with Tate, which was nice to see.

To no one's surprise, I'm a bit lost.

@AbcNbc247 — what was the specific clue that confirmed Stephanie's book is about Jeremy Horton and not Nathan Horton? I thought I had finally cracked that one, but so far, my prediction record is rivaled only by Rafe’s inability to close a case.

image.pngEven Rachel seems two steps ahead on the EJ shooting.

If you haven’t seen today’s Marlena/Rachel scenes, I actually recommend listening with your eyes closed like it’s a radio soap. Rachel’s dialogue was solid—she came off sharp, with a nice rhythm to her delivery. Then we open our eyes, and she’s standing center frame like she’s about to curtsy to Marlena.  The directors don't let her move like a little girl visiting her grandmother.

Also, the scene tells us she just came from the movies with Brady... but the costume tells a different story.  This doesn't look like an outfit from 2025 (or even 18 months ago), nor does it look like something Kristen Dimera would buy for her daughter. She was styled like an American Girl Doll who’s seen some things. Just to be clear: this is a comment about the costuming for the character, not the actress, who is adorable and handled the scene well. But the visual language here is veering into uncanny territory, and it’s distracting from what the script is trying to accomplish.

Steve brought it up to Kayla, how him and Stephanie were a toxic relationship, and worried that Alex could be like that.

Oh, so Jeremy’s back just to make Alex look like the better option for Steve?

I can already hear the character-propping complaints (is that officially a verb yet?). And yeah, Steve’s sudden distrust of Alex feels a little out of nowhere. But I guess Jeremy’s always going to be jerk-coded. Some Salem résumés are just harder to clean up than others—especially when they involve drug-smuggling and shady airlines. We haven’t seen him in twenty years, but apparently some reputations never quite expire.

I don't mind it

Spoiler

If either Michael Roark or Hank Northrop is going to play Jeremy, I'd like to see what happens. Plus, he could use a little redemption 😂
