Lynn Herring, Lucy Coe, General Hospital

Presenting its first Nurses Ball event since 2023, “General Hospital (1.841 million) saw a nice bump in the key sales demographics used to sell ads for daytime television during the week of May 19-23, 2025.

With its 0.21 rating among Women 18-49, the ABC daytime drama series marked a seven-week high in the demo (since March 31-April 4, 2025). Meanwhile, its 0.33 rating among Women 25-54 tied for the show’s third-best performance of the season and marked an eight-week high (since March 24-28, 2025) for the series. Further, “General Hospital” topped time slot competitor “Beyond the Gates” (1.541 million) on CBS for the first time in both categories, not including ties. Further, the long-running soap was up +0.02 compared to the same week last year among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54.

After hitting multi-week highs one week earlier, “Beyond the Gates” faltered a bit among Women 18-49, tying its season low with a 0.18 rating. Speaking of season lows, “The Bold and the Beautiful” (2.485 million) tied its low among Women 18-49 with a 0.22 rating.

“TODAY with Hoda & Jenna” (1.150 million) hit a new series low among Women 18-49 with a 0.15 rating, just above “GMA3: What You Need to Know” (1.179 million), with the latter series tying its series low among Total Viewers.

Despite a decline in Women 18-49 (0.25 rating), “The Young and the Restless” (2.896 million) managed to see a week-to-week uptick among Women 25-54 (0.44 rating). Elsewhere, both half hours of “The Price is Right” (3.511 million / 3.959 million) were the biggest gainers among Total Viewers week-to-week.

Disappointed for BTG's fall, but GH's Nurses Ball deserves praise for serving the drama. Happy GH had a good week. The show needed it.

Looks like Liam dying isn't bringing the ratings. Wait till he's actually dead and they'll sky rocket 🤭

Bold is boring. Everyone is being nice to each other. There is no drama.

BTG is becoming background noise. They are repeating the same scenes just like B&B does.

I know it won't last but I'm glad GH got the boost. They tried much harder than I thought they would to make the Nurses' Ball dramatic this year, in ways that mattered.
