Hahahah!!! Not the diva staredown! Kat and Eva...the feud that stays giving!!!

See? That's also part of the reason I love Nosy Nurse. For all of her nosiness...she DOES her job as well.

OMG! Martin and Smitty on a date????????

THIS.

Makes no sense.

SilkPress Sheila!!!

OMG!! You all are right...from the first line...I'm here for her vs Nosy Nurse.

Well, well, well. It seems the actor playing Tomas is sloowwly improving, too. OOoo and this scene with Eva.

Random doctor is kinda cute.

Silk Press Sheila adapting a southern accent as Lulu?  I see that our nurse Shanice was onto her right away.  The actress playing Shanice says so much with her eyes and facial expressions, and I fear for her safety since 'Lulu' now has her in her sights.

Chelsea/Samantha scene was pretty good, and I have a feeling that once Dani gets wind of Samantha's dream.. she'll be on her like a pray mantis.  With Chelsea not on board with Samantha's dream because of her own experiences.. I sense some mother/daughter conflict.

And no Martin, your line wasn't cheesy in the way that you probably thought it was cheesy.   A double entendre is always my favorite line of dialogue.

That last scene between Eva and Silk Press Sheila really shows that Eva understands that her mom is off her rocker.

Unpopular opinion, but I didn't mind the Ashley scene today.  In fact, it was the first time that the show attempted to give the character a little bit of depth and I think the actress did as well as she could.   The show really needs a white Millennial/Gen Z script writer since the current script writers seem unable, or incapable of writing younger white characters effectively. Or the actors need to be allowed to modify their dialogue (Victoria Rowell used to do that on Y & R so not out of left field).

And also Ashley and Derek were included in MVJ's bible.. but sometimes what works on paper doesn't always work when implemented.

Leslie is getting sloppy and Shanice is not the person she wants watching her. Ashley really should have been Laura's nurse and gotten blamed for Leslie's interference with Laura's recovery. Living her dream of being a nurse is such a big part of her storyline that her being falsely being accused of making errors would be a compelling plot.

I worry for Samantha. i think her dads will let her date and it will be some stalker that becomes obsessed with her from her new modeling career after he finds her online. There's a reason Smitty is investigating influencers for his story

Also did ya'll catch it being established that Tyrell is the older sibling? They should have made that Samantha

Three characters I wouldn't care if they were completely off the canvas. They do nothing for me. I don't even care for Dani and Andre much, I rather she be causing mess somewhere else.

If I'm not mistaken, the clerical error Ashley made on the chart was the dosage for Potassium... which was found in Laura's blood work.

So I wonder if perhaps we got some foreshadowing of trouble for Nurse Ashley.

-- The hospital scenes today were so bad, especially anything with Ashley and Andre.

-- The Ashley stuff is horrendous, and it makes no sense for Andre to video any of that. He's "looking for a way in" and trying to center his documentary? WHAT? If he doesn't know what his goal is, he should put down the camera. Or maybe film somewhere other than the main desk, where nothing was happening.

-- Ashley is no better with Andre than she is with Derek. It's all bad.

-- I love Shanice, but those scenes with "Lulu" didn't go far enough. The Shanice we've already come to know would have asked a lot more questions about this "new nurse" she never saw before.

-- BTG seems to think avoiding makeup on Samantha will make her look younger. It doesn't. The actress is fine, but I'm sorry, she looks WAY too old for this role.

-- Laura's doctor was good, but I question giving private medical news in front of visitors.

-- I enjoyed the Smitty and Martin date and any scene with Eva is worth watching.

-- Swivel Ted is still swiveling.

-- This episode is just a C grade for me. The awful Ashley/Andre/Derek scenes cast a pall over the entire hour.

    • They are mentioning Aristotle Dumas in nearly every scene now.  Good Lord.  The poor actors must roll their eyes every time they get a new script.
    • BC played Jeffrey O'Neill, her last husband- the ninth.   Yes, April Fools Day 2009 is a date that will live in infamy for GL fans but I feel we all kinda expected it at that point.  The soap press reported that GA's return as Phillip was basically the show's final chance at getting the ratings up.  A Hail Mary if you will.  It didn't extend the show's life but it was fantastic to see Phillip back in SF where he belonged.
    • I think Alexa Havins has been polarizing. A large segment of fans love her and what she's done with the role, while others say she's a good actor but they hate the way Lulu is written -- as someone who interferes and is a harpy. I personally think she's been a terrific recast.
    • The perfect camp. And maybe it's regional? I don't recall seeing a "sponsored in part by..." tag during today's end credits, either, which is usually when I see the commercials.
    • Totally agree on TMG - perfect daytime camp. I always get Febreeze commercials, and did today. I wonder why you're not, that's odd.
    • Dipping my toes back in, and Leslie continues to be THE star. Girl has brought the same energy since day one. Anita has become tons more interesting when played with her former groupmates. Kat is such a massive disappointment. I can’t stand her.
    • this was a great episode. Leslie with Jacob was lol as were the scenes with Jacob/Kat.  I like that Eva is vulnerable at times. Makes it easier to like her. The writers need to do this with Dani more. (and Leslie). The Anita scenes were also well done.  Big credit to the writers today!

date: Thursday, June 5 | Christopher Dunn, Judy Tate | Michael V. Pomarico I love the way Vernon just observes Anita and knows exactly what's on her mind and yet still allows her to explain her way out of it all. He knows his wife. LAURA IS BACK AT WORK! I am very, very happy for you, and I love that Katherine, Mona, and Nicole are there to warmly welcome her back. It's been months! Uh-oh, Ms Dana, here comes the PD to raid your ass; I just wish Eva hadn't moved the helmet and gloves, because she could be caught NOW! Sharon continues to show how absolutely ugly she is with her nasty, distasteful attitude. Shame on her. Absolute shame. Dante Greene is the devil; a truly deplorable human being who clearly felt he could walk over someone without a care by luring the other three Articulettes with him via Anita. I admire that Anita is fully aware of things right now; she's considering everything: the positive and the negative. And with Vernon's support and wisdom, she's got this locked in. Oh, more backstory! There was a hiatus to mourn Barbara, and Anita did not come back. I hate to say it, but that does happen in real life. Choice to take a break, for whatever reasons, and you don't come back together. We've seen it before. I like how humble Eva is with her position at the salon and where she came from, especially in beginning as Nicole's assistant. I appreciate that Laura is struggling to transition back into her work space and that she's re-adjusting, with everyone giving her the grace she needs. I love that Jacob is not backing down to Dana and her attempts to "woo" him. YES ANITA! STAND UP FOR YOURSELF! Vernon saw what was coming and said, "I'm going to safety! This is for the women, not me," and he yeeted himself out of there. Katherine should have an office and a badge at this point; she's more than earned it. Oh, there is a slight flirt in Nicole's eye who is enjoying the continued run-ins with Ted; she's in love with him. And that isn't changing. Go on, Anita! You fight for yourself, girl! Speak the TRUTH! Oh, look, Eva and Laura. This is interesting. Very, very interesting. Notes: Febreze and no commercial; maybe it's only Tide that garners the commercials right now? Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) continues to serve camp, but it's camp done right. It's not a comedy or a mockery; it's pure daytime camp. I wonder who they'll cast as Dante Greene if the role comes onto the scene. I appreciate them bracing the subject matter of suicide in a way that does not come off as... cliche or in poor taste. Tamara Tunie (Anita) is continuing to show up! I love this for her. A true matriarch and legend!
