(Sidecar. - the Trump ad propaganda ran twice during the show today because they must know the ratings are high and the demo will be diverse - like most of us I bet are Liberal so - he thinks he’s going to convert the LGBTQA and non-white among us lollll - because all ya gotta do is say the entire world now respects and loves us and this keeps us secure and you have more money in your pocket because they’re going to try and pay your happiness with a $5000 check next year they gets taxed so it’s $3500 and his followers will claim how life changing it was and they’ve paid off all their debt, and here is why it’s great for the stock market to crash)…but the nonsense ran twice today, can’t even get away from the Mofo by watching daytime TV)

Finally figured out who Nurse Ashley reminds me of

Ashley’s presence on the show annoys me in the same way Sam grated on my nerves on Melrose Place too. The scenes with Derek in the hospital were chemistry lacking and nothing but cringe

I’m not totally invested in the McBride’s either so Nicole/Eva/Leslie did a lot of heavy lifting in this episode for me. I hope Eva doesn’t let her crazy mama wreck Nicole’s award ceremony. Shout out to Daphnee Duplaix for being in every episode so far btw

Martin and Smitty’s kids seem like decent casting so far and while I don’t care about the marriage problems I am interested to learn what hell Martin did thats causing the bad dreams and Anita and Vernon to play coverup.

Catching up on the thread and that’s exactly what they give me. Specifically Sonny and Carly towards the Sam and Alcazar affairs and the official divorce. I’m loving the toxic mess they’re bringing tbh. The competing press conferences segment was one of the best things the show has done so far

Eh!

I don't care for the gambling story or the set.

I wouldn't miss it or Lindstrom.

It's an ugly set. Probably the worst set I've seen so far.

The power went out... after the show was over... in the entire building. It's up again. If that happened DURING BTG, I would have sued the [!@#$%^&*] out of that electric company.

    • This underscores the biggest issue that the show needs to work on.   The majority of the characters on the show are all related to one another, which is why we have that B&B esque Dani/Andre hook up situation

    • It was a good episode. I didn't expect things to unravel so soon.   One thing I still don't like about these big events: Where was everyone else?   This is a big event. Everyone should've been there.
    • Mitch, thanks for that history of the Reardon Boarding House kitchen.  I had always assumed that every time the kitchen set returned, it was a recreation of the original set.  So I have been wrong about that.   Was the kitchen set ever used later, while Buzz and the Coopers owned the boarding house?

    • Do they ever do anything well?  The show is about 4 week story arcs - if that it feels like.  Why wouldn’t you spend a month of subtle hints.  Late to events and don’t telegraph it.  Have repeated issues with time; I had a friend whose Mom suddenly was forgetting half the meal in the fridge to be heated for a meal; twice her husband had to go to her work to get her because she was still working and only noticed no one was there until he walked in to find her and make her come home (it was a doctor’s office, there’s not that kind of job);  knowing she had an appointment and not be worried by it, etc.   No, they have him do a head bonk and bam it’s cancer.     It’s almost an insult.
    • I know that's right Queen.

    • Today showed why almost no one comments on this crap soap. -- We're back to pretending that there aren't SCORES of cosmetics companies out there --  only Jabot and whoever else opens up shop in Genoa City to be the competition. No real business runs this way. -- Marchetti is supposed to be an internationally-renowned fashion house, yet both Chelsea and Sally are ready to walk after being high-level executives there. -- It's not often women leave choice executive positions in their field of expertise to work in a business they're clueless about. -- Sally had a lot of nerve shading Chelsea with "It's easy to see Adam's influence on you" when the same damn thing is happening with Billy. -- I'm glad Lauren told Michael to quit, since we've all been mouthing that for weeks. None of that story is helped by CLB's over-the-top acting. -- The scene with Victoria helping a sick, coughing Cole walk to their car on the way to the hospital was laughable. Wouldn't rich people call a damn ambulance? -- Claire was really concerned, wasn't she? She stayed in the doorway instead of helping her mother, and then headed right to Crimson Lights for coffee. Why bother with checking on her possible terminal father at the hospital?
