He’s significantly older than her and the power dynamics between them were never equal. He knew she came from a broken family and likely preyed on all these insecurities to sleep with her. Some caught "Sherry Carter" as a nod to Sheila Carter. But some had never heard of Sheila Carter ... they thought "Sherry Carter" was a reference to a former real-life BET host named Sherry Carter. For all we know this was a one off affair and Eva is at least early 20s so it's possible he made a mistake when he was young and it's now coming back to bite him in the ass. I don't think that makes him like Bill at all. We've had non-villainous characters have affairs many times on soaps. My mind immediately goes to Tom and Margo on ATWT.
