@Liberty City, for rankings, it should be like this:

1. Daphnée Duplaix (Nicole Dupree Richardson) – 5

then

7. Tamara Tunie (Anita Dupree) – 4

then

17. Jibre Hordges (Jacob Hawthorne) – 3

etc.

It works aesthetically to use spoiler tags -- but then people have to log in to read.
For many years, I would read the SON monthly episode rankings -- for many years before I joined SON.  (If I quoted it elsewhere, I would still credit SON).

Also, the fancy opening font image doesn't display for those not logged in.
But that doesn't really matter at all.

This is what I currently see if not logged in (on all browsers)..
Logged out and then checked this thread on PC browsers and phone browsers, and it's the same for all.  I made this screengrab:

Does SON traditionally credit background actors in episode rankings?
@JAS0N47  sometimes credits U/5 actors for DAYS if they are known; but not sure about background actors?

Wonder when they'll start listing all the writers. Gregori Martin posted the following on social media on 2/24.  Sure sounds like he's either no longer on staff or won't be after season 1?  Odd choice of past tense when you just launched in your new job if it's long term and in the present.....Thoughts?

fyi, Jerri Tubbs and Max Bickelhaup are spelled correctly on the individual episodes in which they appeared, but misspelled on the overall list.

@Errol already said Michele Val Jean wrote the first 5 episodes entirely by herself from scratch. I am sure that was by design and other writers will start to be credited soon, like next week.

MVJ is one of the few writers left who has experience HW-ing, scriptwriting, editing, and writing breakdowns. With this being her creation and likely not having much of a writing team from inception, it makes sense she would write the first batch of episodes herself.

For the episode rankings I compile, I use the 5 episodes for a character as the cut-off to make the rankings. So the only people I list in the monthly/yearly rankings are characters who have appeared in at least 5 episodes of Days. That's why Felicity Greene, for example, wasn't listed in the rankings for many months until she hit 5 episodes (I then go back and add her retroactively to the earlier months). I did make an exception for Amy Choi, since I didn't want to go back into 2024 and add in her episodes, knowing from that parking clearance leak that she would still be playing the role once Rachel Boyd took over as Sophia, so I put Amy on the list immediately (more so just to make things less annoying for me). If Amy hadn't debuted until January 1, 2025, then I would have waited to add her to the rankings (retroactively) until she had been in 5 episodes.

I also exclude Body Doubles from the rankings. 

But anyone not on the rankings lists themselves, the characters in only 1 to 4 episodes (such as Savannah the stripper) are listed on the cast charts.

In the overall rankings you have Brandon Claybon as Martin Hamilton. Everywhere else, you have him correctly listed as Martin Richardson.
