How can you be for EJ and Belle? EJ is a criminal who raped Belie's sister.

Not as a couple, but for the storyline.

I'm still hoping that Shawn and Belle eventually find their way back to each other.

Shawn and Belle are boring. They truly need to recast the roles to make them interesting.

They did seem to have a bit of a spark today but yeah there was definitely a lack of interest in them for a long time.

I know there are posters who don't like this iteration of Stephanie.  And I must admit that I've never been moved by her pathos or her romances.  But, her scenes with Jada are great, and I think tonally the actress has the perfect amount of spunky pertness to fill the role in this era.

However, it would be nice if each female character had their own voice.  Say what you will about the characters of Leo, Gavi, or EJ, but at least their dialogue is written very specifically.  Chanel, Holly, Stephanie, and Joy all sound alike.  They could trade scripts, and we would never be the wiser.  None of them have a unique perspective, or seem to be influenced by their upbringing.  They all have the same beliefs about love, and exactly the same motives.

For me, she worked on Beyond Salem but for some reason, it never translated onto Days of Our Lives, and it felt like a replacement for Abigail, in the same way Abigail's arrival with Kate Mansi helped replace Shelley Hennig's exit as Stephanie.

You've really pinpointed one of my major problems with DAYS these days. Of course, all the soaps seem to struggle with this; it's only just now, after they've each been on the show for 5 years, that Sasha and Willow on GH have stopped being interchangeable. But I feel like DAYS used to be much better at infusing each character with an individual voice, back when the Cullitons used to write a lot of the daily scripts. I think at this point they could benefit from bringing back some of their female characters who really do have more distinctive personalities, like Melanie or Chloe or even Gwen.
