“Beyond the Gates” stars Tamara Tunie, Clifton Davis, Daphnee Duplaix and Karla Mosley are set to hit the network news and talk show circuit this week as they promote the launch of their new daytime drama series premiering Monday, February 24 on CBS.

On Wednesday, February 19, Tunie will be a welcomed guest at “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” hosted by comedian Stephen Colbert. The episode will also include Academy Award winner Robert De Niro as a guest as he discusses his Netflix film, “Zero Day.” The late-night series airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Immediately following Tunie’s appearance on “The Late Show,” Davis and Mosley are set to make a “special appearance” on “After Midnight,” hosted by comedian Taylor Tomlinson. Guests appearing that night are actors Josh Sharp and Aaron Jackson, and “RuPaul’s Drag Race” icon Monét X Change. The late-night series airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET/PT on CBS.

Anchored by Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson, “CBS Mornings” will welcome Tunie and Duplaix on Thursday, February 20. Additionally, Katya Eckert, founder of A DOMANI, the thermoregulating sleepwear and loungewear for women brand,” will appear. The morning show airs weekdays at 7:00 a.m. ET/PT on CBS.

All episodes of the CBS shows can also be streamed Live and On Demand for Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers, or just On Demand for all other Paramount+ subscribers the day after the episode airs.

On Friday, February 21, Tunie and Duplaix are paired together as they appear on the syndicated daytime talk show, “Sherri,” hosted by Sherri Shepherd. The show airs weekdays in national syndication and is distributed by Debmar-Mercury. Check local listings for when the show airs in your area by visiting SherriShowTV.com.

I’ve never seen extensive promotion done for a daytime soap like this in my lifetime. Thinking back to the premieres of The City, Port Charles, and Passions - I don’t recall anything ever on this level.

We have to hand it to CBS for supporting this show and going all out for it. Regardless if it’s a ratings hit or not, they certainly tried in the beginning.

    • I recently edited an older episode to do a Denise Alexander edit but Mo was in scenes & I had forgotten that back then he was actually good at his job.  The contrast with today is well alarming.

"Brenda. I quit the business! It's done!" The. End.
    • Sonny looking down at the floor today and for a few episodes is worse.  LW at least brings energy and Steve seems engaged. I would cut Mo at this point.  The love fests with Laura and on and on with everyone.  Just go find Brenda off screen and beg for her forgiveness.  THX, BYE!
    • I'd checked out of Y&R for a couple of years because it was boring as... I returned in August because the Sharon story sounded intriguing. I know some hated it, but let's face at least something was happening! It was a solid use of vets and on-screen history. I honestly don't get the Dumas storyline at all or the premature end to the Sharon/Phyllis kidnapping. The latter story actually could've gone on for months. Alan playing cat-and-mouse.  It's like they also did a 180 on Billy/Phyllis - the Valentine's Day dream, Billy *saving* Phyllis and a month later he kicks to the curb! What??? That's completely illogical based on their history. Please let Mariah's secret be a good one. At least, Daniel/Tessa/Mariah have a non-business related storyline!
    • Nahh, Bill is through with Danielle, but I am getting so sick of her "all about me" attitude, so I am here for his shade.
    • She is being forced on the audiences again; she and Sonny are the "gruesome twosome". Even Jason has been pulled back and made more tolerable this 'go round.
    • Carly is 100% part of way too many stories.  We are all pretending like Laura Wright is bringing something new to the table as Carly.  Laura Wright is serviceable and has great hair, but she's not Sarah Brown or anything.  She's fine and I like her but she's not doing anything special as Carly.  She's just floating around currently.
    • Yes, they are new pictures of him.
    • I would submit to you that she doesn't need any more excuses, not when it comes to Bill. But, I am one fan who thinks Bill isn't done with Dani & also the reverse is so. Those two, IMO, are locked in some kind of toxic but  irresistible vortex. I'm not saying we're going to have scifi. Just the personality kind of vortex. OH!!! Thanks. I don't do Y&R. But I totally understand anger even frustration with Josh.
    • Any chance you could share this episode to the vault? Please.
