Gotta admit, it wasn’t that good of an exit though. After a year of basically not thinking about Philip at all, out of nowhere, she said that she always had feelings for him. 

But I agree, her not being on the canvas now is a mistake. She could be a part of both Joy’s storyline and Philip/Sarah/Xander

Yeah, last I heard they had FINALLY went there with Brady and Chloe. Mess ensued. lol.

 

And see? Chloe...another character on a soap who can turn back tomorrow and be placed anywhere on the canvas and it writes itself. But alas.

That's not what I recall.  I thought she broke up with Xander, then Philip tried to romance her during the funeral.  And, Chloe had a 90210-Kelly-Taylor-style I choose me moment, and went to Boston to see Nancy.

No. She left with Philip but as friends only, with them both keeping the option for it to evolve into something more.

Tate did look hot too. And so did Philip lol considering the first shot of today’s episode, I guess JPL is a crush as well 😉

Philip’s scene with Vivian was good too but they really shouldn’t be writing Philip as so campy. That’s not like Philip at all, and it could really mess up a storyline with massive potential. I like that he has some doubts about the plans and what it may mean for Sarah. Are we getting a hint of a Philip/Sarah/Xander triangle at some point in the future? Somehow weaving Stephanie/Alex/Chanel/Johnny/Joy could be good as well. And it would bring Alex back into the Kiriakis family storylines where he really should be. Him finding out about Philip and Stephanie’s relationship could be good.  

And surprisingly, the Body&Soul related scenes weren’t bad today either, especially Kate/Chanel. I still say that the buildup to all of this could have been much better, in every way.

Tbh JPL‘s Phillip has been written as campy ever since he was on Days mid 2010‘s. That’s why i prefer Jay in that role. He can play both. Serious and campy.

Chloe comes to see Brady at John and Marlena’s place to say goodbye. She needs to hit the reset button and spend time with Parker. Brady understands, considering how nice it is to have Tate there. However, he’s stunned to learn Philip is moving to New York as well. She clarifies they aren’t a couple, but she isn’t ruling it out. She knows it sounds crazy after what he put them through, but she hopes Brady trusts to her make the right choices. All Brady has ever wanted is for her to be happy. Besides, he knows you never get over your first love. Just like Brady will never get over her.

Yeah.. it was around the time Deimos was there too. JP played Phillip like he was the playboy again and like he was on drugs. It’s not that I didn’t liked it but it was…. Different… too different for my liking and especially for victors son.

 

JPL's acting is so bad.......it sometimes makes me laugh. It's so over-the-top.  LOL Those pop-out eyes, those facial expressions, those hand gestures, the body movements.......and that hop entrance (WTF) at the end of Friday's episode.  LMAO

No, that's not her. The redhead nurse is a bit older and usually is only seen hanging around the nurses' station in front of the elevator. Just think of Gina T's older sister. You'll know her if you see her.

Days is still being uploaded at 6. Hopefully, it stays like that when Daylight Savings starts again. 

I’m actually surprised that Tate admitted to Holly that he was with Sophia last night. And that Holly seemed so okay with it, even though she and Tate were broken up. I expected her to go nuts lol I hope they don’t take away Holly’s messiness, at least not yet. It could be used to drive story for a while. Tate being messy can do the same as well. 

I’m still Team Sophia though. She’s been given a lot more depth lately and I like that. That tells me that Sophia is gonna be in it for the long haul and is not just gonna be reduced to a psycho like Jan. And, I like that they’re continuing to build up a friendship with Ava. I’m also wondering if they’re going to cast Sophia’s mother any time soon. 

Hopefully, we get some follow up with Sophia/Tate/Holly tomorrow. 

Philip/Xander was ok today but it could have been a lot better. The campiness messed it up again. I’m curious as to whether it’s a choice by JPL or he’s just receiving poor directing/writing. Kate/Vivian was good as well and I like that Kate seems torn between joining up with her and Philip or ratting them out. 

And yeah, I still think it’s time to end Brady/Kristen for good, despite the family bonding with Rachel today
