Webmaster Errol Posted September 19, 2024 Webmaster Share Posted September 19, 2024 The wait is officially over! “General Hospital” fans can watch Nicholas Alexander Chavez (ex-Spencer Cassadine) in “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story,” now streaming on Netflix. Chronicling the case of the real-life brothers who were convicted in 1996 for the August 20, 1989 murders of their parents, José and Mary Louise “Kitty” Menendez, the second season of the Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan-led true-crime anthology series sees Chavez taking on the role of Lyle Menendez, the eldest brother, while newcomer Cooper Koch plays Erik Menendez. Playing their parents are Javier Bardem and Chloë Sevigny. Javier Bardem, Chloë SevignyNetflix During the real-life trial, the prosecution argued the brothers killed their parents to inherit their family fortune. Meanwhile, Lyle and Erik claimed – and remain adamant to this day, as they serve life sentences without the possibility of parole – that their actions stemmed out of fear from a lifetime of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of their parents. “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story”Netflix Over nine episodes, viewers will watch as “Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story” dives into the historic case that took the world by storm, paved the way for audiences’ modern-day fascination with true crime, and in return asks the audiences: Who are the real monsters? Members Beachstorm
Their charges need to be changed to manslaughter. They were about to be retried for the lesser charge, but LA DA Gil Garcetti's team had just lost the OJ case which made them look so bad. It was an ego thing. I believe the brothers. I lived in Orange County when this happened and we couldn't get away from it. It's gruesome. This series is going to be hard to watch (for me, I'm a wimp). But there's some big chit coming. Nic Chavez is exactly how I knew he would be in this.
Members NothinButAttitude
Ryan Murphy needs to be flogged for this show. I am 3 episodes in and it is nothing more than trauma porn, and Murphy living out his sick fantasies.
Members Contessa Donatella
Did you happen to see the TV movie where Billy Warlock played one of the two brothers, years back?

Members marceline
Whatever my complaints about Murphy, the music in his projects is always on point. The Milli Vanilli songs (Yes. Songs. As in plural. Please register in order to view this content ) sent me careening back into my past. I'll be honest, I barely remember the crime. My sharpest memories are of the trial of them both. Edited September 21, 2024 by marceline

Members Liberty City
Murphy deserves every lashing he has gotten and will continue to get online. I wish networks / production studios would cease working with him. No more.
Members Maxim
Taking real life crime and turning it into taboo-fetish porn with subtitles... is not my cup of tea for entertainment. This time Murphy went one step too far. I have seen scenes in youtube, just out of curiosity and the way it's promoted - even the ads and the posters... is so absurd and inappropriate, and so FAR from reality, that it's laughable. Even this shot... is enough for me. It looks like an ad for a posh gay escort service. Disgusting way of glamorizing. Like WTF. Members Bright Eyes
I just hope none of the blowback effects NAC's surging career. He deserves to become a star!
