Members KBT
First off let me say hell yeah to beating down the Red Wings last night 6-3, Chris Mason is now 7-1 since taking over for Vokoun, and the Preds have won 6 in a row without their two best power play guys outside of Paul Kariya(Steve Sullivan and Marin Zidlicky)! Playoff predictions: Here are my picks: 1st Round Winners (1) Ottawa in 5 games (2) Carolina in 6 games (3) New Jersey in 6 games (4) Buffalo in 6 games (1) Detroit in 5 games (2) Dallas in 6 games (6) Anaheim in 7 games (4) Nashville in 7 games(I know San Jose is extra hot, but I am biased here) 2nd Round Winners (1) Ottawa in 7 games (2) Carolina in 7 games (6) Anaheim in 7 games (1) Detroit in 6 games 3rd Round Winners (2) Carolina in 6 games (1) Detroit in 6 games Stanley Cup Champions (1) Detroit wins the cup in 7 games Obviously Anaheim is my dark horse team, hopefully that won't come back to haunt me! Members Hartless
So we're not going by rounds? As for the first round: (1) Ottawa vs (8) Tampa Bay--->>Ottawa in 6 (2) Carolina vs (7) Montreal--->>Montreal in 7 (3) New Jersey vs (6) New York--->>New Jersey in 5 (4) Buffalo vs (5) Philadephia-->>>Buffalo sweeps (1) Detroit vs (8) Edmonton-->>Detroit in 5 (2) Dallas vs (7) Colorado-->>Dallas in 5 (3) Calgary vs (6) Anaheim-->>Calgary in 6 (4) Nashville vs (5) San Jose-->>Nashville in 7 I'll get back with my round 2 once I analyze the situations Toups, your picks are my wishful thinking that's for sure. Members Adam
I thought we'd do round by round as well... that's what I was gonna do. Oh well. I wonder if anyone will be right in their picks right through the final and if so I'd say you are psychic! Over history the NHL playoffs have proven to be the most diffucult to predict out of all the major sports. More upsets occur in Cup playoffs than any other sport. Members Adam
Heartbreaking loss for the Oilers. Roloson played awesome though. 57 friggin shots on him! Something to build on. The Sens started out slow but when they woke up they woke up big.
Members Hartless
Good for Sens who won yesterday! It definately won't be an easy series but I had no complaints with how we played. Emery was solid. I was really upset about Edmonton, they played SO hard. Their goalie was stellar, just amazing. 56 saves I think...
Members Adam
Calgary made it 2/3 on the night for Canadian teams in action. It looked dicey for a while as Anaheim was really playing well. I think this series could be long too but certainly works in the Flames favour now since J.S Gigure is out with an undisclosed injury.....
Members SpiritualJunkie
So Calgary won? Woohoo! Yeah, I was really disappointed about Edmonton...it was a really CLOSE game..either team had the potential to win it.
