I want to state it officially, Brooke is going to sleep with Finn. I don't know when and I don't know how, but I feel it in my gut that it's going to happen. Probably sometime next year.

I'm seeing all of it laid out. Brooke so sure and happy with Ridge means a breakup is coming... Taylor saying to Ridge - I'm not a stalker... means she is obsessed and will make anything to break them up.

Rebecca is bringing it. She is making every line work. I love her so much. When she teared up about Phoebe - I felt it.  And Rebecca and TK have way more chemistry than KKL and TK. It works a looot better. Not super-chemistry, but way better than the cringe that is TK and KKL. 

And this Taylor IS going to marry Ridge for sure. They will break-up after that for Brooke again, but she will manage to marry him and maybe even last a couple of months (dare I say a year).

You'll see.

@Maxim Taylee definitely works for me. Since RB has been on, TK is actually giving Ridge life. It's obvious he's really comfortable with RB. I could totally buy Ridge/Taylor now. Somehow RB pulled real emotion out of TK during those Phoebe scenes. RB also brings a certain warmth and sweetness to Taylor.

What I've noticed most about RB is how quickly and smoothly she delivers her lines. There's an energy there that the show desperately needs. It's clear why she was cast. I'm completely sold.

Absolutely. RB brings warmth and substance to Taylee, but also when she wants... her eyes become quite menacing and hint that something is brewing inside, that she is not allowing to surface. Yet. RB is my great surprise of 2024. I was so put off by the casting, but RB managed to hook me on the show, just as I was about to comfortably sit on my lifeboat and desert this wreck of a soap opera.

But I would also like if wardrobe can stop dressing Taylor in these boring blazers. She looks like a kid that is wearing her mother's clothes. If she is going to be wearing a blazer, at least give her some colors that will pop. They are dressing her so lackluster in comparison to Brooke. Is this intentional? Is Bradley once again trying to paint Taylor as this sexually blocked-non-sexy entity, while Brooke is this never-end-blooming-flower of sex and desire. Ugh.

Enough with the beige blazer!

God with the -  I’m dying. Tuned in for 3 minutes at the end. Yawnnnnnnn. Honey we are all dying - next.   Please don’t do this again. 
 

Will anyone check to see if she really is dying? No. Will anyone ask what do it told her so? No.  Do people live with heart failure? Yes, for years and they’ll pop Finn’s heart in her next year when they write him out, if it’s even true. \/\/

Taylor is not going to die, that's obvious. It will be a repeat of Eric dying - months of crying, and Ridge finally realizing he loves her and marries her on her death bed, only for her to get a miracle or a heart transplant in the last moment and survive. 

Brooke will be kicked to the side with her lingerie... for a month or two. 

I can totally see that happening on a Bradley Bell show.

      A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

      Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.

      When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

      I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
