Well I just watched. I thought it was so lovely and perfect and LuNacy! Yes I was expecting it to finish one way and it didn't. I am hopeful it still will. Basically we have been told so much misinformation, why are we so sure that they are right about them not being on until next week. No one seems to know what they are talking about so I will just have to have faith.

I loved them today! This is why I watch!

Hope you are feeling better Hooked.

We don't know that they are... we don't know that they aren't... we're just crossing fingers and toes and hoping that after investing SOOOO much into the love story of Luke and Tracy (even composing music for them - with lyrics), that they won't leave the fans hanging without an answer.

I'm on recap duty today. I'll let everyone know as soon as I do.

EDIT

BTW, QT, I noticed the thread you started on SOC has been moved. I find it interesting that the one everything is moved to is 'limp flower', not 'I love them'.

And just as a mini-rant to start my day.... I saw the interview with JMB. Nice child, I'm sure, but why do those reporters always ask about her few weeks working with ewcbo? I mean honestly, the girl has worked with JE for THREE YEARS - since she came on the show. You'd think that would be the important question, but nooo has to be about the fluff.

Well some anon giving scene info today on SD this morning said that the scene we were wanting was cut. Not sure who they were or if they actually know anything, but I wouldn't hold my breath to see it air this week.

I only know from someone who has the breakdown info that there is no more Lunacy this week. No more Luke either I don't think.

I am going to watch the show this morning from yesterday objectively. I guess to us the answer Tracy gives him and the kiss was the most important and seeing the ring back on her finger. But probably from a story/character dialogue point of view, the fact that Luke has now declared his love for Tracy all over the place to the audience is the most significant.

If they weren't invested at all in Lunacy or keeping them paired up or giving respect to their relationship, they would have just broken them up long ago. Thinking about it...writing it so that Tracy goes with him, says more about their relationship than her staying and letting him leave with her blessing. She doesn't want to be without him at all for any length of time, and if he asks her to with him--that is huge too.

I am trying to stick with Lainey's theory of this being the ultimate fairytale for Tracy--to have someone who truly loves her for her sweep her off on some adventure together. I will be sad to not see her for 8 weeks or so this summer, but at least we can imagine her having the most romantic, and funny time of her life!!!

Edit

Remos--Addie has added the Tracy Q from the City clips on youtube!

Again, from anon...but someone (other than me) asked this question at SD...

So is Tracy leaving for the summer with Luke? Or will she be on?

I heard JE would be back taping late June. Tracy will be gone from the screen roughly six weeks. Then she takes over running the HS.

I am happy that he is taking her with him. VERY HAPPY!

BUT I want that scene finished today! We waitied too long to SEE HIM PUT THOSE RINGS BACK ON HER FINGER!! If they had done something like this to LuSam or Liason there would be a uproar! But it's okay to do it with LuNacy? That's just Fn crazy!! These A+ Actors get get their scenes cut, and the mediocre get everything? That is my comment to the comment line in my next call to them this morning. I am just beside myself with this one.

I have someone on SD who is willing to make one of those moving avatars for me from a video clip of Lunacy. Anyone have a suggestion for which kiss would be a good one or hug or clip to use? I think it can be up to 20 seconds. I was hoping to get the one from yesterday, but since that ain't happening....anyone have a suggestion? I am thinking of maybe one of the ones in the hospital when they said ILY?

I want her old hair in it! LOL!!!

It doesn't surprise me in the least that the breakdowns for the rest of the week don't have Tracy/Luke. That scene was for yesterday, not today or tomorrow.

I can't see them spliting one scene into two, and cutting the payoff with so much lead-up, and then nothing. LuNacy might not be as popular as some other couples, but they are popular and they are liked by the writers. And we also heard on Monday that they bumped others to add LuNacay material. If anything they have given LuNacy MORE time these past few days than the original breakdown suggested. Insiders are only as good as the information they have - which they admit is changing all the time.

Don't give up yet - but do call the comment line. Either way they have to hear our response immediately.

Shouldn't we at least wait until we see if they are going to pick up with Lacy today, before we go off on TIIC? I know someone said they aren't in the breakdowns, but SD also said Tracy was going to be left behind again. They LIE over there.

I am not trying to get anyone's hopes up....but there is a chance they WILL be on. I think if they are NOT on today, and we don't get the continuation of that scene, but we DO get a continuation of the other stuff, THEN I will be calling.

But....I'm going to give them today to see.

Actually, even though Lacy aren't in previews, I think there's a good chance we'll at least get Tracy's response, because today looks like a "pick up where we left off day" based on previews. You know, some previews don't seem to have diddly to do with what happened the previous day, and others pick right up where they left off. Because we got a scene of Spin at Jake's, I'm going to say today is going to be a "pick up where we left off" day.

Sorry for the rambling....LOL but that's how I see it.

And I LOVED them yesterday. So OLD SCHOOL. SQUEEEE ! I loved it.

    • @Soapsuds Thanks for posting Night by night Mon 8pm The Rookies edged Gunsmoke but attracted younger(more desirable) viewers.NBC failed with Born Free/Smothers Brothers (how many different series did those 2 get??) 9-11pm  Maude/Rhoda/Medical Center dominated on CBS,but Football and Movies were competitive on an occasional basis. ABC tried  SWAT/Caribe later in the season and the former worked for them. Tues 8-11 pm CBS all the way Good Times, MASH, Hawaii Five O,Barnaby Jones. NBC had the fading Adam 12,Movie and Police Story mmm...don't see that listed? ABC Happy Days, which ABC decided to keep despite lackluster ratings, the Movie of the Week and Marcus Welby-once pulling big numbers but no longer. 8pm NBC had a new hit with Little House, easily beating Sons and Daughters, which was axed and replaced with Tony Orlando, which did much better. ABC had That's My Mama and the Wed movie. 9pm Cannon was the lead here as Lucas Tanner failed to capitalize on the LHOTP leadin. ABC continued the movie. 10pm Manhunter started strong for CBS but petered out and was cancelled. Petrocelli manged to beat Get Christie Love, which was replaced by Baretta-no ratings winner but ABC decided to renew. Thurs Another CBS night with The Waltons and a movie. ABC counterprogrammed with Odd Couple/Paper Moon then Barney Miller/Karen NBC did even worse with Sierra and replaced it with Mac Davis which improved ratings quite a bit. However, it was moved to 9pm for Sunshine/Bob Crane 9pm Some good numbers for ABC with Streets of San Francisco fending off Ironside,Archer and Mac Davis. 10pm Harry O had a slim victory over Movin On Fri 8-11 NBCs best night Sanford/Chico/Rockford/Police Woman. 8pm CBS had high hopes for Planet of the Apes but it bombed. Replacement Khan did even worse. Paul Sand and We'll Get By were tossed in at the end of the season. With poor lead ins the Friday movie didn't deliver. ABC's odd line up saw Kodiak flop, Six Million dollar Man struggle and Texas Wheelers  quickly cancelled. Kung Fu was brought in @8 and Six Million moved to 9. Then Kolchak took over at 8 and Hot*l Baltimore/Odd Couple 9-10. Despite controversy Hot*l flopped. 10pm ABC tried Kolchak then Baretta and finally Get Christie Love Sat CBS lead  with #1 AITF then Paul Sand/MTM/Bob Newhart/Carol Burnett. Paul Sand lost too much of the lead in so CBS spun off The Jeffersons and it was a smash. NBC did OK with Emergency (which beat Paul Sand on occasion, thus hastening that show's demise) and a movie. ABC was a disaster with New Land/Kung Fu and Nakia all failing. They introduced a movie @9 and moved Kung Fu to 8. Sun  NBC  with Disney and Mystery Movie (Columbo McCloud, MacMillan and Wife/Amy Prentiss)did well. ABC flopped with Sonny Bono and recovered by moving Six Million Dollar Man from Fri as a lead in to the movie. CBS hoped Apples Way would be another Waltons but no, so Cher did what Sonny couldn't. Kojak and Mannix successfully finished out the night. Two other shows on the ratings list were Adams of Eagle Lake starring Andy Griffith. Only 2 episodes aired and did well, so I'm not sure what happened there. As for The Law it was a series follow up to a 2 and a half hour NBC special movie .

    • Trust is very easily lost and very hard to re-build.
    • Oh, I know it was. I was just talking about how it's not giving me parallels to Caroline dying. It's really as far from it as possible.  But about the foreshadowing - Hahahhahah. Yes. And you missed one - Liam googling - "what is cancer"...
    • GH 2-17-21 Denise Alexander's last appearance https://www.instagram.com/p/DJdjXgwJ1Ez/
    • @Maxim This Liam dying out of the blue was crafted in a hurry for three reasons: 1. To facilitate JMW's leave 2. To prop Steffy - 'Oh, Steffy has so much grace and moral superiority that she ignored everything that swine HoLo did to tell her for the sake of their daughters. Queen Stephanie would be so proud of her!' 3. Distracting Steffy enough to give Lunacy an easy way to slither into Finn's life. Once Luna discovers that Lame is dying, she'll play that card: 'Dad, life is too short and precious!' If this was an intentional story, we would've had the typical B&B foreshadowing - Liam faceplanting into a bowl of pasta, Lame missing meetings, being forgetful. Instead, Lame does an impulsive quick quit and $B doesn't even care enough to make a single attempt to get him back? Please.
    • https://www.tvinsider.com/1180503/denise-alexander-dead-general-hospital-lesley-webber/ Alexander made her soap opera debut as Lois Adams on The Clear Horizon in 1960, but her big break came in 1966 when she was cast as Susan Hunter Martin on Days of Our Lives while still attending college at UCLA. As Susan, Alexander played a host of dramatic tales, including murdering her husband David Martin (played by Clive Clerk) in May 1967 after the death of their son. “She started out as the bad girl and was thrown out of boarding school for smoking and drinking,” recalled Alexander to We Love Soaps TV. “The character caught on and sparked something with the audience, and that is how Susan became an important part of the show. I was there for almost seven years…. I had such a wonderful time on Days. It was like going to camp every day for me. I loved the people, loved the show, and loved what I got to do. They loved the character and liked me as an actor and gave me lots of neat stuff to do. I didn’t even ask for a vacation for five years because if I worked 365 days a year, I thought I was great. It was a very good time in my life.” In 1973, Alexander was in contract negotiations with Days when ABC offered significant perks to the actress to join General Hospital to play Dr. Lesley Williams. Though Alexander loved her time in Salem, she decided to leave. “It was [Days’ Executive Producer] Betty Corday who sent me to General Hospital,” Alexander told welovesoaps.net. “She said, ‘You must do this.’ So when I went to General Hospital..."
