Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah....

I come bearing gifts....

First from the IL (originally from ABC Hotsheets)

Luke manages to get through to Tracy using symbolism that only Luke and Tracy can really understand (think gambling).

And secondly (click on the package to open it)....

very cool and high tech how you did that gift and the click on it to the link to the story! Very impressive!! Nice story too! It is almost 2am and I am going to pass out soon--I know I wlil get dragged out to the slopes tomorrow--I am so sore and tired....I am not getting up early or rushing. And if it is so cold again, I am only going out for like two hours and that is it.

I saw something on soapdish about no word on TG staying or going yet, but a contingency plan is in place. Sorry I can't do the blakc out thing cause I can barely type on this laptop!

merry xmas

and thanks for the happy hanukkah wishes. My MIL gave me a nordstrom gift card. My only gift!!

ms q--I will watch the video when I get home--it isnt opening up here for some reason. bummer.

Today was a horrible day. I hope you all had a nice xmas though!

Two more days of this trip and we come home. I really want to come home.

anyway, anyone going shopping tomorrow to return stuff? Anyone get anything good? We kind of blew off hanukkah pretty much this year. The kids all got one bigger gift. I got a nordstrom gift card from my MIL and that was my only present. I don't even really feel like using it--I haven't shopped in so long. I may regift it! LOL

Remos, Awesome fic!

Ms. Q, Great vid! Was hoping for LunNacy :( but well done, none the less.

Hooked mama, get your spankybuns home! You need a vacay from that vacay. Oy!

Funny pants, um got fix? hee.

There are some vids on youtube from a new Tracy lover (well new to us anyway - heh). Her screen name is Tracy Quartermaine. She obviously LOVES Tracy but not sure if she loves LuNacy judging from her LuNacy vids. eek! Anyhoo, she has some great Trillon mVids and a hilarious one of Snarky Tracy. I'd post the link but I am feelin a little lazed out. :/

Thanks! And no promises, but since Christmas is typically about families (hence the Quartermaine video), perhaps with NYE being about couples, you will get a LuNacy video. :P Though, originally, the Q video was supposed to be for NYE, but anyway...

hooked, I am sorry you are not enjoying yourself. :(

Hooked, I think you need to visit nyc again soon. :D

For Chanukah, I got these awesome Steve Madden distressed brown leather boots from my babygirl as well as pajamas and slippers from Victoria Secret. From Lauren and her GF I got the book and workbook of "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", along with a sketch book. I got some French language stuff from them too, oh yeah, and a wallet (themz my sugar mamas - heh). Got more pajamas from my sister, and a necklace from my brother and his GF. Not too bad. B)

    • Yes, but the stories are all pretty awful Seeing Victor rehashing his hatred of the Abbotts  when he married one of them and has a daughter that is half Abbott as well as walking around with Traci's daughter's heart keeping him alive makes him look worse than he already is. And I remember he and Jack chatting amicably in the past few years. Victor interfering in Kyle/Claire is just repeat of Billy/Victoria. Sharon, Nick,Phyllis etc are around but again the stories are lacking.
    • I think Kevin's 1996 Emmy was fair enough. He barely appeared for his second. I don't think anyone else on the list is that deserving but I might have gone with Moore as he did try with the whole Keesha AIDS story. @alwaysAMC Thanks to slick jones' cast list I was able to see that Nikki Rene played Tina. Not much on her, as you mentioned. Tap and a few Broadway listings (it doesn't help that a younger actress with a similar name is in a lot of roles). • Thank you. That does ring a bell. I remember Theresa and Julian's drunk, giggly fake wedding (with Julian asking "Whassup?" to the minister). Was Bruce tricking the pair as a prank, or did somebody put him up to it? I especially liked Katherine recalling how dashing young Alistair was when he'd pick up Rachel for dates, and how she wished she could be her sister, then feeling guilty once Rachel had her boating accident ...
    • And Kevin Mambo beat Shemar Moore for those two Emmys. I chalk up the wins to the voters not wanting Jonathan Jackson to eventually end up with a five peat (he won 1995, 1998, 1999). These were the 1996 and 1997 Younger Actor races. 1996: Nathan Fillion, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow 1997: Steve Burton, Jonathan Jackson, Kevin Mambo (winner), Shemar Moore, Joshua Morrow

    • Today's episode was excellent. Clearly it was confrontation day and they didn't disappoint. I'm glad they didn't forget Mona in all of this and gave us an opportunity to see how she's dealing with this. A major highlight for me were the Kat and Martin scenes. Their chemistry is off the charts and I don't understand why we haven't gotten more of this. I love how they take turns calming each other down. They feel really well matched and believable as siblings. Speaking of siblings, they anvils were dropping strong that Kat and Eva are twins but I do wish someone would mention that they are essentially hood twins which might throw people off the scent.  I'm one of the people who enjoyed Joey and the gambling storyline so it was nice to see him again. It was nice to see different characters like Mona and Eva in that element instead of the usual players. When Doug arrived I don't know what hit me but I just see a funeral in his future. He seems so hopeless and has the worst luck. I just can't see him surviving the year at this rate.
    • In fiction there has become an expectation by some that every Black character should represent excellence and perfection. It's not like we are talking about a Tyler Perry show where none of the characters are happy and everyone hates each other with a passion.
    • And on rewatch, I could've done without the unsubtle praising Matt like he was the only one who ever accepted Van as she was...but TPTB and their agendas.  It was totally in character for Vanessa to shut down emotionally until she was alone. While she could be volatile, both she and Henry believed in keeping emotions private.  Thank God it's still Bryan Buffinton in the role for both Henry's and HB's funerals. It just wouldn't have been the same with Ryan Brown, who couldn't act his way out of a wet paper bag. Roll My Eyes.
