Not sure anyone here cares, but seems like Laura will be sticking around through fall/early winter according to Guza and we will find out the future for laura then...

The good side to this is that if there is a luke/laura story going on...there is no way that Tracy won't be involved in that. It could really give Jane some good material and some good scenes, even if the outcome isn't what we all hope for...could be the most she has gotten in a long time.

Oh really!!! I had a feeling that was gonna happen!! I guess I'm all for Luke and Tracy mixing it up with Laura as long as the outcome is Tracy gets Luke in the end!! Not everyone wants to see the Spencers back together!! Please!! Man Luke and Tracy have totally charmed me!! I would have never put them together in the 1970's but now they just fit!!

Okay everyone...take one step back and a deep breath. This is Bob Guza we're talking about. He's terrible in interviews and notorious for giving false leads and information. He can also promise one thing then turn on a dime. We've been hearing for years that they want GF but things couldn't work out while she's been saying she's open but they don't want her. No one knows the behind scenes at GH, no one knows if retirements are going to happen next year, no one knows which Spencers he's talking about, no one knows how long GF will actually be around, and no one mentioned Tracy - who IS a Spencer.

By all means call, but don't take him on face value.

Oh, I agree. I'm calling and writing too. All I'm saying is don't get too hung up on this yet - if this is typical Guza he will have GF leaving not in catatonia but in a body bag or to see a specialist in Europe (because of course the doctors in North America are never as good  ) or some other trumped up reason. I'm still not seeing anything that says Tracy and Luke will spilt - in fact insiders have said they won't split. All the Guz has said is that "the Spencers will be together again" and "the Spencers will be in a new place". Those are so vague.

He's playing fan-poker again.

Tracy is on in the courtroom. So far no dialogue or close-ups.

There's nothing to clip, Nex. She's in the background about 3-5 times and that's it.

In the immortal words of Rusty "That's a good planned!"

Hooked, any word on the days for next week? Are we expected to see her throughout the trial? I know the mediapic has her in a new outfit talking with Alan one day next week but do we know when?

I've got to say, the thing about Tracy being in the background of the trial is:

1. I get to see her expressions, which convey pages of dialogue without uttering a word

2. I get to watch Edward and Epiphany exchange expressions - a connection will be born here, mark my words

3. I get to see Scott dig himself in deeper and set the stage for Luke's return

4. I get to see that the show is actually interesting when you don't listen to the haiters/baiters; balance is definately better

5. I get to hear the best lines of the day first hand... so the prize goes to either:

Nadine

to Scott: "
with all respect Mr. Baldwin, that is a bunch of horse pucky
" (to Scott's badgering that she's covering for Johnny as a thank you to Nicholas, who is Lulu's brother)

Diane

to Sonny: "
Okay, I'm finally getting to undestand your thinking, which means I need a Martini
" (to Sonny's insistance that since he and Carly decided not to tell anyone, therefore it never happened)

Yay, but to be fair the reaction shot they were looking for was Ric's and Johnny, AZ and Trevors are sitting right within his frame. And we did get quite a few of Edward/Epiphany's reactions today. The way the cameras are placed you can't see Tracy unless it's a pan of the whole set. The fact that she's included is good for me - they didn't have to have her there at all. She's the only one representing Lulu's place in this whole mess, and she's obviously there for her family (Spencermaine, not Quartermaine in this instance).

I'm not going to bother watching for just a couple of background scenes. Such a shame when that happens, though, as we've pointed out, at least she was on.

As for Guza's comments... We're almost into fall, and I have yet to see Tracy all over the place in any decent capacity. Still waiting for Tracy to be thrown back into motherhood in a big way too. His word is about as good as some of the randomness that is posted on SoapDish. That said, you'd probably be better off taking SoapDish's word than his... ;)

Weekly: Will she have enough material taped to take Laura through the winter?

Guza: I hope so. I love having her around. She is just wonderful.

Weekly: Well, everyone definitely wants to see the Spencer clan back together.

Guza: So do we. You don't hear any arguments from us!

Where one earth is this coming from? I know that Guza likes to play around in interviews but ARGH--he's being so gushy over a character and couple that he has publicly bashed. What the heck?! I don't want to see LnL back together. I want to see the Spencer-Quartermaine clan back together!

Here's where I stand...

I was thinking about it the other day and first and foremost, I'm a Tracy fan (obvs), but one of the reasons that I love LuNacy so much is that as characters they make each other more interesting when they are together. Their relationship is complicated like any real marriage. It brings together a lot of GH history and Tracy and Luke make each other better as any couple should. Much as I hate to say it Tracy was becoming really shrill and an unfortunate caricature of herself. Her relationship with Luke and the way that their marriage has evolved snapped her out of it. When they actually get screen time they are the freshest thing on the show. Tracy's better rounded because of Luke and vice versa. We've seen complexities in Luke that we haven't seen in ages. They both have someone to love them warts and all.

I know LnL has their base, but a lot has happened in the world and on GH in the 27 years since they got married. And the Luke of today is better suited to Tracy. Please don't kill one of the best things you've done, Guza. Viva la LuNacy!

    • Yeah. I wasn't feeling it either. If it was meant to be a chem test, it didn't work. I don't think so. Because I think Neil and Liz moved into that house after Stefano "died", and Neil lived there until he went to go see his patients and never came back

    • Canada aired a repeat today Tues. Nov. 18. So after being a day ahead for the past week, they will now be back in sync with U.S.
    • I was really starting to enjoy it, but after Anspach, Shelton and Keane left, it got a bit blah to watch. Jane Russell was great as Rose, Buddy Ebsen as Toat was interesting as well.  If a second season were in the cards, I would have signed  Karen Carlson on to a contract and cast a couple more women as regulars. The cowboy aspect could continue. Sam Elliott, as always, was fantastic,  The camaraderie between Roy and Quisto was really good as well. Cybill... she was sex on a stick and unapologetic.   Poor Robin Wright barely lasted five minutes, though, before being raped and murdered.
    • I love it that we've gone from daylight to dark -- Luna's even returned to work -- but Steffy is still sitting next to shirtless Finn on the sofa.

    • Is the current DiMera mansion the same mansion Stefano moved into around 1983?  I remember that house was out near a lake, and not far from Doug Williams' night club.  In fact, there was a tunnel connecting Doug's Place to the DiMera mansion.  If it supposed to be the same house, I'm fairly sure it is not the same set.  But I'm aware sometimes soap opera sets change without any explanation
    • Amazing work @slick jones I remember watching and enjoying Yellow Rose but losing interest once they went to self contained episodes, Interestingly that's the opposite of what Dallas, KL and FC did. So maybe YR should have been more episodic at first and then go to a fully fledged serial. But really the timeslot was the problem -Sat @10 was not the spot for a serial. And Rounders turned out to be a poor lead in. Maybe 9-11 Tues following A Team would have helped.
    • LOL!!! He looks like he is reacting as if Luna just passed bad gas or something.
    • Doug Marland came on board shortly before Gloria Monty, I believe. Jackie Smith was in charge of ABC daytime at that point. All of the characters in place were not his creations. Alan was created by Irving and Tex Ellman who wrote the hurricane story a few months before and brought in Alan, Scotty, David Hamilton, Dorrie and Lisa/Lana. His first character was  Bobbie in Jan 78. Apart from wrapping up the Lan/Lisa story he pretty much kept all the stories going just adding new elements.
    • She is 29... she's inching closer, and we know how important age is on soaps.

    • When I saw that look on Will's face, I thought, "Yeah, there's no one on set giving direction to Crew Morrow. There's no one giving notes." His dad Josh was green when he started, but not this green.
