Just awful.

All DAYS cares about is getting any episode's taping finished. Doesn't seem to matter what it looks like -- whatever is easiest and cheapest works best.

And we had to wait for Ron to return for this Konstantin wrap-up? For THIS??? How can it be satisfying when Maggie could have gotten rid of Konstantin months ago? Make it make sense.

And Theresa the hoe bag is just going to skate on by and not be mentioned as a partner in crime? Uh...ok.

I also find it ludicrous that Alex would be fine with Theresa being his one-and-only just seconds after finding her with Brady bodily fluids all over her.

Oh don't worry; Theresa's day of reckoning is coming. She's going to be exposed sooner or later. Hopefully at the very least she's getting prison time and is sent away for a very long time and with pretty much the entire town disowning her. But if she does decide to go on the run, hopefully she doesn't come back for a very long time, if ever. I think like they did with Sloan the authorities are going to put out a warrant for Theresa's arrest and that's when she decides to leave and go on the run.

@carolineg or @AbcNbc247 - was the point of Sarah showing Bonnie her phone so we as the audience wouldn't be tipped off that her name is similar to Alex's Mother's name by not saying it out loud?

I missed if they've said Xander's Mother's name since they've started talking about her.  But, since the forged letter about Alex's paternity was supposedly signed by Angelica Devereaux, that has to be a clue about how it will be exposed, right?

Idk maybe.

But wasn’t the whole page with the signature on it, from the letter replaced with one that had Angelica’s signature?

and Ron won't have to write for her ever again if he doesn't want to because it's pretty obvious he hates writing for her.

Well tbh, Ron doesn’t seem to like writing for female characters in general 😂

Well that would definitely explain why so many female characters on this show are god-awful.

It's really remarkable when you think about it that DAYS has had so many strong female characters because of the times when misogyny was so apparent.

Well, considering that he’s now lost the Outstanding Writing Emmy for two consecutive years, maybe he’ll finally  realize that misogyny is not funny lol

That is a great idea. That might convince him to write something approximating fairness for female characters!!! He so prizes comedy in a soap.

I would love for Ron to write his female characters with some degree of human decency and not as outright shrews or psychopaths but I really don't think he's even capable of that.

I recall the entire letter being replaced as well, but I think there might be something to the theory that Angelica/Xander's mom have similar names since Alex/Xander have the same name.  It would make it easier to pull off the con.

I mean, it seems deliberate that they haven't said Xander's mom's first name yet.

So, I definitely noticed that as well, but I was thinking perhaps we heard Xander's mom's name years ago and the show is subtly trying to change it or just hasn't decided the name yet lol.   I also had the thought that Xander's mom might be a past character as well and it's a surprise. Soapcentral has most of Xander's relatives by name and his mom is listed as "Ms. Cook" so I am going to assume I am wrong.

I still suspect that she's somehow also connected to Konstantin.  Xander's animosity toward him and the preview for next week seem to be clues.  She's the correct age for his dead daughter, but if she's alive, Konstantin's anger toward Victor seems unnecessary.  Unless, he doesn't know she survived.

I'm waiting for the day that Xander, Sarah, and baby Victoria get to move out of that one-room apartment and into the mansion.  And I hope he tosses out Alex and all his wooden bead bracelets.  😁

It's also kind of funny that if Sarah is Maggie's daughter, and Xander is Victor's son, once again step-siblings have been married in Salem (technically speaking).

That's a really interesting theory I actually never thought of.  Mostly because Paul Telfer is in his mid forties and the timeline would be off.   The whole thing is off because Paul Telfer and Robert Scott Wilson aren't nearly close enough in age, but I don't know if it's an actual storyline factor that they are about a decade apart in age.

Konstantin explained Xander swindled money out of his father hence their bad blood.

I hope so. He definitely can do it, but clearly just chooses not to

I can't even remember lol they were so vague about it. And the setup was just so strange.

I thought it was Xander's father who swindled him, not Xander himself?
